Information on your Cantor Index to Spreadex account switch
As a Cantor Index customer, you may have been informed that Cantor Index ceased its non-equity, financial spread betting offering as of Friday, 15th March, 2013.
Spreadex has acquired the Cantor Index non-equity, financial spread betting client list, allowing these account holders to continue to place financial spread bets on a wide range of markets, 24 hours per day through an award-winning online platform and industry-leading iPhone app.
You will be able to log in to your new Spreadex account using your previous Cantor Index username and a new password, which will be emailed to you before your account is transferred. If you do not receive this password, please refer to our FAQs below. You will also be able to use your new Spreadex account to place sports bets.
Any open positions you currently have with Cantor Index will be transferred to your new Spreadex account at 7.30pm on Wednesday, 20th March, 2013.

Do I have to do anything in order to transfer my account to Spreadex
No. Your account will be automatically transferred from Cantor Index to Spreadex at 7.30pm on Wednesday 20th March, 2013. We may be in contact with you before this date to facilitate an earlier transfer for you for your convenience. If you have any questions about this process, please contact us on info@spreadex.com or 01727 895 000.
How do I log in to my Spreadex account?
You can log in to your new Spreadex account here or via our financial trading iPhone app. You can log in using your current Cantor Index username or a new Spreadex account number. Your new Spreadex account number and password will be emailed to you before your account is transferred. If you do not receive your account number or password or are having problems logging in, please click here to reset your password or call our customer services team on 01727 895 000.
Which Customer Agreement will my financial spread bets be governed by?
Your account will be automatically transferred to the Spreadex platform as of 7.30pm Wednesday, 20th March 2013 unless you request an earlier transfer, however your account will continue to be governed by the Cantor Index Customer Agreement until 00.01am on Tuesday, April 2nd 2013. After this time your account will be governed by the Spreadex Customer Agreement, which you can see here.
I don’t have a credit limit with Cantor Index. Can I apply for one?
You can apply for a credit limit with Spreadex by contacting us on 01727 895 000. However, if you wish to apply for a credit limit before 00.01 hours on Tuesday, April 2nd 2013 you will be required to sign up to the Spreadex Customer Agreement. Please be aware that we may have to conduct necessary credit searches and ID/address verification checks as part of your request. For applications over £2,000 further documentation may be required.
I had money in my account with Cantor Index. What has happened to this?
Where possible, all funds will be transferred directly from Cantor Index to Spreadex to make the switchover process as seamless as possible. All money is segregated and afforded full client money protection in accordance with FCA regulations. To confirm you wish to transfer your client money from Cantor Index to Spreadex, please email fins@spreadex.com together with your Spreadex account number or Cantor username, stating "I confirm my agreement to transfer my client funds'.
I have open positions with Cantor Index. What will happen to these?
All client positions will be transferred from your current Cantor Index account to your new Spreadex account at 7.30pm on Wednesday 20th March, 2013. Your positions at Cantor Index will be closed and re-opened on your new Spreadex account in the same market at the same price. At the same time, the money in your Cantor Index account will be transferred to your Spreadex account.
