Spotify spread betting playlist

Traders and investors will often use any assistance they can to try and predict the next financial market move, from technical analysis to complex mathematical algorithms.

Now leading UK spread betting firm Spreadex has given clients another type of inspiration when taking on global price movements – music.

The firm has created its own Spotify playlist for customers to tune into, all with a financial spread betting and markets theme.

The 20-plus song list includes title such as There’s No Limit, Closing Time, Don’t Stop Me Now, The Only Way Is Up and How High.

Spreadex Marketing Communications Manager Andy MacKenzie said: “Of course we have all the technical support traders could wish for with charting facilities and a personalised stock alert system ‘Pulse’ linked into a state-of-the art trading platform.

“However, sometimes the best trading comes when you are in the right frame of mind and what better way to get in the mood than with some market-themed melodies?
