Daily Spread Betting Round-up
We are entering the crunch time of the football season and Easter weekend is traditionally a time when dreams go up in flames. For the lucky few though there will be silverware on the line and in this week’s betting blog, we have previewed the action from the UK and the continent.
The below prices are indicative and may be subject to fluctuation
Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.
After the first legs of the Champions League quarter finals, three sides are priced at 1/9 or shorter to qualify with Inter made a 1/3 shot to hold on to their 2-1 lead as they host Bayern. It was a mixed bag for the English sides, with Aston Villa now 9/1 to progress against PSG having been beaten 3-1 in the French capital.
The Villains will be hoping to make a game of it tonight though and Total Goals is available to trade at 3.2-3.4. As for Arsenal, the consensus seems to be that they need to avoid conceding early if they are to have a stress-free night. The minute of the first Madrid goal can be bought or sold at 40-43 and we have boosted Kylian Mbappe to score a hat-trick from 11/1 to 14/1.
In the Europa League, it is much more finely poised. Rangers (who played the vast majority of the first leg with 10 men), Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United all drew their first legs and it is all to play for. Rangers are 6/1 to beat Athletic Bilbao at San Mames with Tottenham 17/10 to overcome Frankfurt in 90 minutes as the Londoners travel to Germany.
Manchester United dropped Andre Onana after his horror show in Lyon and the Red Devils are 4/6 to beat the French side in 90 minutes. Finally, a strong second half showing from Chelsea saw them win 3-0 at Legia Warsaw and the Blues have more than a foot in the semis of the Conference League. They are just 2/11 to win this week, with our total goals football spread betting market priced at 3.55-3.75.
