TARAS HALL, like Rialannah in the 2.05, is another Sue Smith break returner who is likely to need the run. The six-year-old made a winning racecourse debut in a Huntingdon bumper back in January 2023 but that was for Amy Murphy and he’s lost all seven starts for his current handler. The son of Yeats fell early on his reappearance when a 4-1 shot at Wetherby and could only finish a 39-length seventh of eight, again starting at 4-1, here at Market Rasen next time on what was effectively his first run of the campaign. YARMOUTH 4.15

AFLOAT won twice at Yarmouth last summer and Rae Guest’s four-year-old took her course record to 111 (3-3) when justifying strong support in a handicap over the extended 1m3f trip when returned to the seaside venue last week. She had three lengths to spare over the runner-up at the line and looks a solid bet to maintain her 100% course record this afternoon despite the presence of Ed Walker’s lightly-raced three-year-old UMBRIA.
