How do I open an account and how long does it take?

To open an account, select the ‘Join’ option above, or open a Spreadex account here and follow the instructions given. It is a relatively quick and simple process, but we will require complete and accurate details in order to carry out our fraud and security checks. Depending on the information provided you could be granted an account straight away, or in some circumstances we will require further information from you.

I have an account but cannot log in?

To access the online facility you require a password. If you cannot remember your login details, you can reset your password here.

If you have a password but are getting a message saying that the password is invalid or your account is locked when attempting to log in, please either reset your password via the link above or call our Trading Rooms (Sports 08000 526 575 and Financials 08000 526 570) or our Back Office team (01727 895 000) who will trigger a new password for you.

Do you charge for having an account with Spreadex?

No we do not charge you for holding an account with Spreadex.

How do I close an account?

If you would like to close your account simply send us your request by email to info@spreadex.com, or contact us on 01727 895000 or Live Chat

What are the different ways of depositing funds with Spreadex?

Money may be added to your account by debit or credit card registered in your name, by direct debit from your bank account, by cheque (payable to Spreadex Ltd and issued on an account in your name) or by Direct Bank Transfer (sort code 20 06 05 and account number 70370320) – you’ll need to make sure that your Spreadex account number is quoted as a reference.

What currencies can I trade with?

You can select which currency you would like to trade with when opening your account. You can select from sterling, euros or US dollars.

Can I pay using Pingit?

It is possible to pay using Barclay's Pingit. Simply download the Barclay's Pingit app (no need to be a Barclay's customer), search for Spreadex in the Business Directory and then transfer the funds.

Can I deposit money via Skrill or Moneybookers?

Unfortunately we do not accept Skrill or Moneybookers payments.
