Andrew found 12-1 Kempton winner BOTAS on Wednesday and has two recommended bets/trades on Thursday, May 23rd.

SANDOWN 6.07

GET THE MUSIC ON could only finish seventh of eight at Newbury on last month’s reappearance but probably did too much too soon and her effort can be ignored. The winner (‘slowly away, held up in last’), runner-up (‘towards rear’) and fourth (‘held up in rear’) all came from well off the pace whereas Clive Cox’s three-year-old (‘took keen hold, led’) was very much to the fore in the early stages, disputing the leading with Al Shab Storm who faded into sixth. That rival only went down by a neck when second of 14 at Chester next time and Get The Music On promises to be suited by the step up to 1m for the first time. The recent rain won’t inconvenience her and her draw in stall 9 of 11 could prove advantageous if the runners track across to the near side rail in the straight. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price. Main danger COMMANDER CROUCH is forecast to start at 25-1 by the Racing Post and will be worth a saver.

Recommendation: Back GET THE MUSIC ON in Sandown 6.07

CHELMSFORD 6.47

DARK SIDE PRINCE is bidding for a hat-trick of 5f Chelmsford victories but his last two wins came in Class 6 company from the plum stall 1 draw whereas he’s in stall6 tonight and runs at Class 5 level. Chris Dwyer’s venue won twice in this grade back in 2021 but since, them his record above Class 6 level stands at 333364932365 (0-12) and he might not be fully wound up after 55 days off the track. Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Oppose DARK SIDE PRINCE in Chelmsford 6.47
