Ed Bethell’s three-year-old was an eyecatcher over 1m at Haydock last time, becoming outpaced before staying on to emerge best of the closers in third. LATE ARRIVAL (8.45) has a tough task from the widest draw with other pace horses on his inside but, by this point, we could have covered the spread if we buy HOLLIE DOYLE in the Spreadex PONTEFRACT JOCKEYS market. HEREFORD 7.30

HARDY BOY is proving far from resolute in a finish and turned in another disappointing effort over 3m1f at Hereford last time, weakening into a ten-length third of eight (5-2 joint-favourite). The cut back to 2m5f will lure some punters back in but he’s now lost nine in a row since landing a shocking four-runner affair as the 8-11 favourite at Huntingdon a year ago and can be sold in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.
