Andrew Mount's Racing Tips
Andrew made a good profit with his buy of JAMIE SPENCER (market made up at 55) & sell of COME ON DU BERLAIS (PU, 11-2) on Tuesday and has two recommended bets/trades on Wednesday, March 27th.
Stall 11 is something of an off-putter where GOLDEN MYRRH is concerned but there are so many other positive pointers to the chance of Ralph Beckett’s three-year-old that she still looks worth a punt. The daughter of Frankel shaped with huge promise on her debut at Newbury last summer, finishing just over three lengths back in fifth when 13-2 for the 6.5f Newbury maiden won by Rosallion. The winner signed off his juvenile career with a Group 1 victory at Longchamp and the runner-up went one better on his next start. Golden Myrrh has had a wind operation since that run and looks a likely improver this year. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back GOLDEN MYRRH in Kempton 6.00
Owners King Power Racing Ltd have a solid record on the all-weather with newly-gelded runners, scoring with nine of the 27 qualifiers for a profit of £4.88 to a £1 level stake at SP. Those trained by Andrew Balding have form figures of 131312 (3-6), suggesting that handicap/all-weather debutant BREAK THE BANK will be difficult to kick out of the frame in this 1m contest. The son of Invincible Spirit could be well-in judged on his debut Newmarket sixth to the now-107 rated Macduff and the switch to synthetics is unlikely to pose a problem on breeding. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back BREAK THE BANK in Kempton 7.30
Please note that the picks recommended in this blog post are based on past performance and should not be considered a guarantee for future winning outcomes, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
