SPAIN v FRANCE - GOALS x CORNERS x BOOKINGS (SETTLED AT 1,200)
We start with the football betting action at Euro 2024 and Spain became the first side to book their place in Sunday's final in Berlin with an impressive come-from-behind victory over France. With the win, La Furia Roja became the first team ever to win six consecutive matches at a Euros.
In what was a match of excellent quality befitting the calibre of players on display, the action sprung into life quite early as France took a surprise lead through Randal Kolo Muani. However, Spain struck back quickly with an incredible long-range strike from 16-year-old prodigy Lamine Yamal, who became the youngest-ever scorer at a Euros. Dani Olmo then added a quick second and Spain held on from there to secure a match with either England or the Netherlands.
In terms of big winning bets, football spread betting punters had joy buying on our Goals x Corners x Bookings multi-market. With the opening spread standing at 780 - 880, the final make-up of 1,200 meant a profit of 320x punters' opening buy stake!

JASMINE PAOLINI v EMMA NAVARRO - NAV/PAO POINT SUPREMACY (SETTLED AT -23)
We move on to action from the women's Wimbledon draw and the late-blooming rise of Italy's Jasmine Paolini continued as the French Open finalist demolished USA's Emma Navarro 6-2 6-1 in just 58 minutes to reach the semis at SW19. Navarro had come into the match as favourite after dumping out the fancied Coco Gauff, and beat Paolini in all of their three prior meetings.
Despite an evenly-matched start and Paolini falling an early break behind, the Italian then seemed to click into gear as she raced through the match in utterly dominant fashion. Although both players hit 12 unforced errors, Paolini's 19 winners compared to Navarro's 6 showed the gulf in class on the day when it came to precise, aggressive hitting.
For spread betting punters, a big win was to be had for those opting to place a sell bet on the Navarro/Paolini Point Supremacy market. Starting with a spread of 2 - 6, a make-up of -23 meant a 29x return on sell stakes!

TAYLOR FRITZ v ALEXANDER ZVEREV - X-COURTS (SETTLED AT 150)
And finally, the tennis action from the men's draw at Wimbledon on Monday saw a relative shock and a hugely impressive comeback victory as the USA's Taylor Fritz overcame a two set deficit to knock out the in-form German Alexander Zverev.
Zverev has been one of the most consistent performers in 2024, reaching the semi-finals of the Australian Open and losing the French Open final, but he has relatively underachieved at Wimbledon and again faced disappointing as he let a seemingly commanding lead split.
Meanwhile, Fritz has a game greatly suited to the grass and he came into Wimbledon full of confidence after winning his third Eastbourne title, and the American battled to a 4-6 6-7 6-4 7-6 6-3 win to set up a quarter-final with Lorenzo Musetti.
For punters fancying a long, hard-fought match dominated behind serve, buying on the X-Courts market at an opening spread of 110 - 118 and a settlement of 150 yielded a return of 32x for successful buy trades.
Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
