Daily Spread Betting Round-up
The end of the football season looms large, but there have still been some matches to get stuck into whilst the cricket and flat racing seasons roll on. There has also been French Open qualifying to enjoy this week as we preview the big winning bets from the last few days.

NEWCASTLE UNITED v LEICESTER CITY – SHIRTS x BOOKINGS (SETTLED AT 0)
Newcastle headed into Monday’s clash with Leicester knowing that a point would secure them Champions League football for the first time in 20 years and the Magpies duly obliged as they earned a 0-0 draw with Dean Smith’s side.
In truth, the Geordies battered Leicester but despite testing Daniel Iversen and the Foxes’ woodwork on multiple occasions, they couldn’t find a winner. However, Timothy Castagne could have nicked all three points for Leicester when he produced their first effort on goal in stoppage time.
It was a result that went down like a lead balloon in Merseyside and West Yorkshire, but Leicester have given themselves a shot at staying up with West Ham the visitors to the King Power Stadium on Sunday. A good night for Dean Smith then, and a good night for sellers on the Shirts x Bookings spread at 1900-2150 as with the final make-up 0, they won the maximum 1900x their stake.
GUJARAT TITANS v CHENNAI SUPER KINGS – 1ST CSK WICKET (SETTLED AT 87)
With the Ashes beginning in a few weeks and the English Test summer getting underway next week with the visit of Ireland, minds may be wandering to red ball cricket, but in the white-hot IPL, the white ball reigns supreme.
The business end of the season is upon us, and Chennai Super Kings travelled to Gujarat Titans for the right to advance straight into the final of the IPL. Opening the batting for the visitors were Ruturaj Gaikwad and New Zealander Devon Conway, who put on an opening partnership of 87 to get CSK up and running.
The Super Kings finished their innings on 172-7 (Moeen Ali scored nine not out) and it proved too much for the Titans who will play on Friday in the final eliminator. There were a couple of decent winning spreads on this, but those who bought the fall of the 1st CSK wicket at 39-44 won 43x their stake.
NURIA BRANCACCIO v KATE BOULTER – BRA/BOU SUPREMACY (SETTLED AT -15)
The French Open proper begins this weekend and if you are interested in spread betting on tennis, you can find out more with our handy guide.
One of the examples is the Match Supremacy and a fine example came on Tuesday when Britain’s Katie Boulter advanced through to the next round of French Open qualifying with a win over Nuria Brancaccio of Italy.
Seeded 24 in the qualification, Boulter was the slight underdog against her Italian opponent but she prevailed 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 and the East Midlands native will now have her sights set on making the main event at Roland Garros for the first time in her career.
The Supremacy was set slightly in Brancaccio’s favour at 2-5, but with Boulter earning ten points for a victory and five points for a one set margin, the market settled at -15 with sellers winning 17x their stake.
Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
