WALES V POLAND - TOTAL GOAL MINUTES (SETTLED AT 0)

We start with the football betting action from the midweek EURO 2024 play-off finals and it was heartbreak for Wales in Cardiff as they fell to penalty shootout defeat to Poland and missed out on a summer adventure in Germany.

Understandbly, it was a cagey affair throughout and chances were at a premium for both sides. In fact, the home side restricted the visitors to such an extent that the Poles failed to hit a single shot on target in the entire 120 minute contest. Wales also had a goal ruled out by VAR, but ultimately the lottery of the shootout went against them as Dan James missed the deciding spot kick.

For football spread betting punters, selling on the Total Goal Minutes spread was a profitable choice. With the opening spread standing at 105 - 115, the final make-up of 0 meant a profit of 115x punters' opening sell stake!

ANDREW MOUNT'S RACING TIPS 26.03.2024 - JAMIE SPENCER IN SOUTHWELL JOCKEYS & COME ON DU BURLAIS @ TAUNTON 4.50 (SETTLED AT 55 & 0)

We move on to the midweek racing action and a successful days of tips from Andrew Mount who picked not one but two profitable bets/trades on Tuesday. In Mount's analysis and recommendations for the action, he identified buying on Jamie Spencer in the Southwell Jockeys market and opposing Come On Du Burlais in the 4.50 race at Taunton.

As it happened, Spencer produced a good showing in his rides while Come On Du Burlais duly failed to show much to justify the pre-race odds and expectations.

For horse racing spread betting punters placing a buy bet on Jamie Spencer at a starting spread of 36 - 39, a settlement of 55 meant a return of 16x their opening wager, while selling on Come On Du Burlais at a pre-match spread 12 - 15 and a make-up of 0 and a return of 12x punters' opening stake.

GRIGOR DIMITROV V YANNICK HANFMANN - TOTAL POINTS (SETTLED AT 66)

And finally, we end with the tennis action from Miami and a totally dominant performance from Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, who has since continued his winning form against Hubert Hurkacz and secured a quarter-final against Carlos Alcaraz. However, this big winning bet comes from his clash with Germany's Yannick Hanfmann in the previous round on Monday.

In an incredible occurrence for a Masters event, Dimitrov managed to conclude the match in just 47 minutes with a crushing straight sets win and a loss of just one game, 6-1 6-0. This coupled as arguably Dimitrov's most dominant career win, and an embarrasing experience for the German.

For punters with the foresight of a one-sided match, selling on the Total Points opening spread of 132 - 137 and a settlement of just 66 - one of the lowest you will ever see at this level - yielded a return of 66x for successful sell bets.
