Daily Spread Betting Round-up

Monday & Tuesday's Big Winning Bets

Monday and Tuesday saw a feast of international sport with the Champions League Round Of 16 second legs taking centre stage, whilst there was also action in Bangladesh who hosted England in the final game of their ODI series, and in the Rugby League as Featherstone hosted Bradford.

As always, we have picked out three big winning spread bets from Monday and Tuesday’s action!

Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.

BANGLADESH V ENGLAND – ENGLAND JOY OF SIX (SETTLED AT 0)

In the early hours of Monday morning England set out to complete a series whitewash win against Bangladesh however all didn’t go to plan in Chittagong as Bangladesh secured a famous victory.

Bangladesh were put into bat first and set a respectable 246 with star man Shakib Al Hasan top scoring with 75 off just 71 deliveries. England then entered the crease and struggled to get going on a deteriorating pitch which resulted in them being bowled out for just 196 runs giving the hosts a 50 run victory.

But where was the value for the punters?

The England Joys Of Six market awards 25 points for three selected batters in an innings with them being Roy, Malan and Buttler for this specific match. With neither of these batsmen hitting a maximum this time out this market settled at 0. With a pre-match spread of 85-93 offered, punters who decided to sell won 85x their stake!

FEATHERSTONE V BRADFORD – MATCH MULTI-POINTS (SETTLED AT 352)

Next, we head to Featherstone who hosted Bradford in the Rugby League Championship, looking for a fifth straight win to kick off the campaign.

The hosts took just nine minutes to open the scoring but were behind just 13 minutes later after two tries from Bradford sent them into an unexpected lead. However, the lead didn’t last long for the visitors who conceded two late tries to send the hosts into a 14-8 lead at half time.

The league leaders showed why they had four consecutive wins this season in the second half as they ran over another two tries to give them a 26-12 win to continue their winning streak.

Although Featherstone are the league’s highest scorers, the scoring in this fixture was lower than expected with Match Multi-Points making up at just 352 (22 x 16 = 352). With a pre match spread of 630-681 offered, punters who decided to sell won 329x their stake!

BENFICA V CLUB BRUGGE – GONCALO RAMOS SMM (SETTLED AT 159)

Finally, we head to Lisbon as Benfica took on Club Brugge in the second leg of their Round of 16 fixture, with the hosts entering this game with a 1-0 aggregate lead.

The Portuguese side put the game beyond any doubt in the first half as they sailed into a 2-0 lead with goals coming from Rafa Silva and Goncalo Ramos. In the second half the hosts piled even more misery onto Club Brugge and manager Scott Parker by then scoring another three times to the reply of just a single Brugge goal.

As Goncalo Ramos got on the scoresheet twice, his Super Mega Minutes made up at a massive 159 (45 + 114 = 159). With a pre match spread of 42-49 offered, punters who decided to buy won 110x their initial stake!

Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
