Daily Spread Betting Round-up

Monday & Tuesday's Big Winning Bets

Monday and Tuesday saw a range of international sporting action with Australia hosting England in the final of a three-game ODI series, the San Francisco 49ers travelling to Arizona Cardinals in the NFL and Mexico playing Poland in their opening games.

As always, we have picked out three big winning spread bets from Monday and Tuesday’s action.

Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.

ARIZONA CARDINALS V SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS – SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS MULTI-POINTS (SETTLED AT 357)

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, Arizona Cardinals hosted the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL with the 49ers having an impressive season sitting in fifth in the Conference while the Cardinals are struggling in 13th place.

The first quarter saw little to no action with a single field goal putting the Cardinals into a 3-0 lead whereas the second quarter saw much more action with the away side going over for two touchdowns and field goal to the Cardinals single touchdown giving them 17-10 lead at the halfway stage.

The remaining third and fourth quarters were much more one-sided with the 49ers going over for three more touchdowns to no reply resulting in a dominant 38-10 victory.

With the 49ers scoring 38 points and the points being relatively evenly spread with 17 points in the first two quarters and 21 points in the third and fourth the San Francisco 49ers Multi-Points market made up at 357 (17 x 21 = 357). With punters offered a spread of 109-129 before the start of play, punters who decided to buy won 228x their stake!

AUSTRALIA V ENGLAND – LAUNCH! (SETTLED AT 2888)

Following on from the NFL action Australia hosted England in the final game of a three-game ODI series with England looking to avoid a series whitewash defeat to the Aussies.

Australia were put into bat first and got off to a dominant start with David Warner and Travis Head putting on a massive 269 runs for the first wicket. The game was then halted by rain shortening the game to 48 overs which Australia took to their advantage adding 78 runs in just 10 overs resulting in an impressive score of 355/5.

England then entered the crease and struggled to get going as Australia frequently took wickets leaving them at 95/7 off just 25 overs. England then stuttered to 142/10 when rain put an end to the game with Australia winning by the Duckworth Lewis method.

With the highest score coming from Head with the Aussie opener scoring a massive 152 and the highest scoring over being 19 runs the Launch market made up at a massive 2888 (152 x 19 = 2888). With punters offered a spread of 1875-2125 ahead of the game, punters who decided to buy won 763x their stake.

MEXICO V POLAND – GOALS X CORNERS X BOOKINGS (SETTLED AT 0)

Finally, we head to Qatar as Mexico faced Poland with both sides looking to take advantage of Argentina losing their opening game in a shock defeat to Saudi Arabia.

With the game possibly being the deciding factor in whether each team will get through from Group C, both sides started understandingly conservative with the game going into half-time goalless.

In the second half, the game started to open up and Poland were rewarded in the 58th minute which the usually reliable Robert Lewandowski missed. The remaining 32 minutes saw a number of half chances, but the game ended goalless leaving both sides on one point after their opening game.

With there being zero goals in the match the Goals x Corners x Bookings market made up at just 0 (0 x 11 x 30 = 0). With a pre-match spread of 920-1020 offered, punters who decided to sell won 920x their stake!

Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
