Daily Spread Betting Round-up

Tuesday's Big Winning Bets 05.10.22

tuesday-thumbnail

Tuesday night was a night full of sporting action with Matchweek Three of the Champions League seeing Marseille kick off the evening with a comfortable win over Sporting Lisbon before in the late kick off Napoli thumped Ajax away from home to put themselves top of Group A.

In other sport, South Africa beat India in the final game of their T20I series to ensure they didn’t face a series whitewash.

As always, we have looked at the market make-ups and picked out three big winning spread bets from last night.

Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.

MARSEILLE V SPORTING LISBON – MULTI-BOOKINGS (SETTLED AT 0)

Last night’s action kicked off at the Stade Velodrome as Marseille hosted Sporting Lisbon, both knowing a win would leave them top of Group D.

Sporting Lisbon got off to a lightning start which saw former Wolves man Francisco Trincao put the away side 1-0 up inside the first minute of the match.

Marseille responded quickly with Alexis Sanchez capitalising on a goalkeeping error before Amine Harit put the hosts ahead in the 16th minute. That wasn’t the end of the first-half action as Sporting Lisbon keeper Antonio Adan was shown a straight red card before Leonardo Balerdi doubled the hosts lead.

The second half saw Marseille comfortably play out the game adding another goal in the 90th minute from Chancel Mbemba to round off a comfortable victory.

But where was the value for the punters?

Although the game had one red card and four bookings the fact that they all came in the first half meant that the Multi-Bookings market made up at 0 (65 x 0 = 0). With a pre match spread of 515-615 being offered, punters who decided to sell won 515x their stake!

AJAX V NAPOLI – GOALS X CORNERS X BOOKINGS (SETTLED AT 3640)

The second action of the night came from the Johan Cruyff Arena as Ajax hosted Napoli in a massive game in Group D.

The hosts started the fastest scoring in just nine minutes through Mohammed Kudus before three goals from the away side turned the tie on its head putting Napoli in a comprehensive lead at half-time.

But the away side didn’t stop there, scoring another three goals in the second half while Ajax saw their captain Dušan Tadić shown a second yellow rounding off a miserable night for the hosts which saw them suffer their worst defeat in all competitions since 1960!

But where was the value for the punters?

With there being seven goals, four yellows, a red and eight corners in the match, the Goals x Corners x Bookings market made up at a whopping 3640 (7 x 65 x 8 = 3640)! With a pre match spread of 1150-1250 offered, punters who decided to buy won a massive 2390x their initial stake!

INDIA V SOUTH AFRICA – LAUNCH! (SETTLED AT 2400)

The final action of the night came from the Holkar Stadium as India hosted South Africa in the final game of their three match T20I series, with the away side needing to win to avoid a series whitewash.

South Africa won the toss and elected to bat and set India a massive total of 227 runs while losing just three wickets, with Rilee Rossouw scoring 100 runs off just 48 deliveries with a strike rate of 208.33!

Knowing they had to chase 227, India had to keep the run rate up and ultimately this was their downfall as they were bowled out for 178 - a whopping 49 runs off South Africa’s total!

But where was the value for the punters?

With Rilee Rossouw hitting a ton and the most expensive over going for 24 runs off Deepak Chahar’s bowling, the Launch market made up at 2400 (100 x 24 = 2400)! With a pre match spread of 1550-1650 offered, punters who decided to buy won 750x their initial stake!

Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
