Daily Spread Betting Round-up
Tuesday night saw a feast of sporting action as we saw the return of the Champions League where Arsenal target Mykhailo Mudryk contributed a goal and two assists as Shakhtar Donetsk caused a shock upset winning 4-1 away at RB Leipzig while Manchester City cruised to victory away at Sevilla 4-0!
The final action of the day came from Flushing Meadows as a match up between fifth ranked Casper Ruud dispatched of Matteo Berrettini in straight sets to book his spot in the US Open semi-finals!
As usual, we have picked out three big winning spread bets bringing savvy punters joy on Tuesday.
Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.
RB LEIPZIG V SHAKHTAR DONETSK – GOALS X CORNERS X BOOKINGS (SETTLED AT 2500)
We start off in the Champions League as Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donestk travelled to RB Leipzig in the first game of Group F where the away side pulled off a shock upset smashing the German side 4-1 at the Red Bull Arena earning themselves just their second win in ten attempts against Bundesliga opposition!
Arsenal target Mykhailo Mudryk was the instigator of the historic win scoring once and assisting twice showing the rest of Europe why Shakhtar turned down bids in excess of £35 million in the summer!
But where was the value for the punters?
With there being five goals in the match, ten corners and five bookings there was certainly value in the Goals x Corners x Bookings market which made up at a massive 2500 (5x10x50)! With a pre-match spread of 1200-1350 punters who decided to buy won 1150x their initial stake!
SEVILLA V MANCHESTER CITY – MULTI-BOOKINGS (SETTLED AT 0)
The second action of the night once again comes from the Champions league Manchester City showed why they are favourites to win the competition battering Sevilla 4-0 to leave themselves at the summit of Group G on goal difference ahead of Erling Haaland’s old side Borussia Dortmund on goal difference.
Haaland once again showed why he is the hottest talent in world football right now as he notched another two goals against the Spaniards meaning he has now scored a brace in all three times he has faced the home side. This takes the strikers tally up to a remarkable 12 goals for the season off just seven games!
Although there were four goals in the match the value actually came in the form of the Multi-Bookings market as the game was a well mannered affair with only one booking being shown to Rafa Mir in the dying moments of the match.
With there being zero bookings in the first half and only one in the second the Multi-Bookings market made up at 0 (0x10). With a pre-match spread of 420-510 punters who decided to sell won a victorious 420x their initial stake!
CASPER RUUD V MATTEO BERRETTINI – SET 1: CROSS POINTS (SETTLED AT 338)
The final action came from Flushing Meadows as Casper Ruud showed a dominant display beating Matteo Berrettini in straight sets to progress to the semi-final of the US open where he will face 27th seed Karen Khachanov who caused a shock upset knocking out favourite Nick Kyrgios.
Ruud showed why he’s ranked eight places higher than the Italian with a dominant start winning the first set 6-1 before two tighter sets followed with the Norwegian edging the sets 6-4 and 7-6 to round off a straight sets victory.
Ruud is now the second highest seed left in the competition and is the massive favourite in the semi-final against Khachanov, do you back him to go all the way? See our US Open men’s singles outright odds HERE!
With the first set being such a dominant display from Ruud the Set 1: Cross Points made up at a measly 338. With a pre-match spread 1042-1117 lucky punters who decided to sell won a massive 708x their initial stake!
