Daily Spread Betting Round-up
Last night saw the final action in the UEFA Nations League as all promotion and relegations were finalised including Switzerland relegating Czech Republic and Scotland confirming their promotion to League A after their 0-0 draw with Ukraine.
In other sport London Irish completed a late comeback to beat Northampton Saints in the Premiership Rugby Cup!
As usual, we look at three big winning spread bets.
Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.
SWITZERLAND V CZECH REPUBLIC – MULTI-BOOKINGS (SETTLED AT 0)
In last night’s football Switzerland completed a 2-1 win over Czech Republic to ensure that they stayed up while also relegating Czech Republic to League B for next year’s UEFA Nations League competition.
The game started off quickly with Nottingham Forest man Remo Freuler scoring in the 29th minute before Breel Embolo doubled the home sides lead just a minute later. The Czech’s did fight back and scored a goal on the stroke of half-time through Patrik Schick.
In the second half the away side missed a golden opportunity to get level through Tomas Soucek but the West Ham man had his penalty saved ultimately sealing their relegation to League B.
But where was the value for the punters?
Although there was plenty of action in the first half not a single booking was given. This means that although there were two bookings in the second half the Multi-Bookings market made up at 0 (0 x 20 = 0). With a pre match spread of 345-425 offered punters who decided to sell won 345x their stake!
UKRAINE V SCOTLAND – GOALS X CORNERS X BOOKINGS (SETTLED AT 0)
Last night’s action in Ukraine saw a straight shootout between Ukraine and Scotland with the home side knowing they had to win to confirm their promotion to League A.
The first half saw several good chances for the home side with Andriy Yarmolenko missing a golden opportunity with the goal at his mercy before the former played through Atrem Dovbyk on goal in the 22nd minute, only for Craig Gordon to smarlty turn his goal bound effort round the post.
The second half saw a lot less action with the Scottish side, heavily impacted by illness, holding on to the draw confirming their spot in League A next year meaning they will be playing in the division above England!
Although the match saw seen total bookings and ten corners the fact there were 0 goals meant the Goals x Corners x Bookings market made up at 0 (0 x 7 x 10). With a pre match spread of 1150-1275 punters who decided to sell won a massive 1150x their initial stake!
LONDON IRISH V NORTHAMPTON SAINTS – MATCH MULTI-POINTS (SETTLED AT 665)
Finally, we head to the Premiership Rugby Cup as a last-minute penalty try saw London Irish complete a remarkable comeback against Northampton Saints!
Northampton Saints shocked the group topping home side scoring three tries converting two of them to give themselves a commanding 19-0 lead at half time.
The second half saw a flurry of missed penalties before two converted tries cancelled each other out leaving the scores at 26-7 in favor of the away side with just 20 minutes to go. The home side then rallied scoring two converted tries before a controversial penalty try in the 80+6th minute completed the comeback!
With their being 19 points scored in the first half and 36 in the second half the Match Multi-Points market made up at 665 (19 x 36 = 665). With a pre match spread of 961-1052 being offered punters who decided to sell won 296x their stake!
Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
