Daily Spread Betting Round-up
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
We have a superb weekend of sport ahead of us with the Derby, the FA Cup final, the Scottish FA Cup final, the English Greyhound Derby, the Memorial Tournament, England against Ireland in Test match cricket, Magic Weekend, the French Open and nine UK and Irish race meetings tomorrow.
Before we can get stuck into all of that though, we take a look back at the last few days of action where there were big winning spread bets in football, cricket, and golf.

VANCOUVER WHITECAPS v HOUSTON DYNAMO – GOALS CUBED (SETTLED AT 512)
Whilst the major European leagues are finished or entering their last matchday, Major League Soccer is approaching its halfway point and there is plenty of drama to be had Stateside.
Phil Neville has just been given the sack by Class of 92 pal David Beckham whilst there was a thriller in Canada’s third largest city last night as Vancouver Whitecaps demolished Houston Dynamo 6-2 as they cling on to a finals spot.
The hosts took the lead in the first minute and by the 18th minute, they were scoring an equaliser to make it 2-2 after a barnstorming start to the match at BC Place. Following that, Vancouver began to assert their dominance and they were 4-2 up before Nelson Iturre was sent off for Dynamo after 69 minutes.
The Whitecaps added two more goals and with Goals Cubed set at 54-63 before the match, this spread settled at 512 with buyers winning 449x their stake.
LANCASHIRE LIGHTNING v YORKSHIRE VIKINGS – LAN/YOR SUPREMACY (SETTLED AT -15)
About half an hour after stumps in the opening day of the Test between England and Ireland at Lord’s, the eyes of the cricketing world shifted to West Yorkshire where Lancashire and Yorkshire renewed acquaintances.
Regularly one of the hottest tickets in domestic T20 cricket, Headingley was bouncing after Yorkshire reached a total of 195-6, spearheaded by Dawid Malan who scored 83 runs from 50 deliveries before being caught on the boundary by Phil Salt.
It was a good total given Yorkshire’s woes this season, but with Lancashire boasting a batting lineup of Jos Buttler, Liam Livingstone and the aforementioned Salt, they were still expected to get the win. However, Yorkshire were able to record their second victory of the season as they won by 15 runs.
Before play began in Leeds the Supremacy was set at 28-36 in Lancs’ favour, but with the spread settling at -15, those who stuck with the White Rose were rewarded with a win of 43x their stake.
THE MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT – DAVIS RILEY 1ST ROUND LEADER (SETTLED AT 80)
With a stellar field heading to Muirfield Village to contest the Memorial Tournament, there was a surprise leader after 26-year-old American Davis Riley led a congested field by one shot following a score of five-under-par.
Riley has missed the cut in his last five PGA events, but the Mississippi native did win the Zurich Classic earlier this year with playing partner and fellow countryman Nick Hardy. Currently ranked at number 79 in the world, Riley wasn’t a likely contender to make an impact on the first round leaderboard with his spread in the 80-40-30-25-20-15-10-5 market just 1-2. However, those who had the foresight to buy Riley in the First Round Leader spread were rewarded with a win of 78x their stake.
Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
