Daily Spread Betting Round-up
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
West Ham and Manchester City got the job done this week but Manchester United crumbled last night as they went out to Sevilla meaning this year’s competition will be the first since the 2014/15 season to not have an English semi-finalist.
Elsewhere there was plenty of IPL action to get stuck into whilst in the darts Nathan Aspinall won the Rotterdam edition of the Premier League last night. We have ran through the big sporting events of the last few days to bring you three big winning bets.

INTER v BENFICA – SHIRTS x GOALS (SETTLED AT 906)
After Milan defeated Italian rivals Napoli on Tuesday, Inter held up their side of the bargain by progressing through to the last four to set up an all-Milan semi-final.
Holding a 2-0 lead after the first leg, the Nerazzurri took the lead through Nicolo Barella and they despite being pegged back by Fredrik Aursnes, second half goals from Argentine duo Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa put the tie to bed.
There was still time for the visitors to salvage some pride and late goals from Antonio Silva and Peter Musa helped level things up and were a big boost to those who bought shirts-related spreads. Silva (wearing shirt number 66) and Musa (wearing 33) added 99 onto the shirts total and helped those who bought Shirts x Goals win 603x their initial stake.
The market settled at a whopping 906 against a pre-match spread of 277-303.
CHELMSFORD 20th APRIL 20:00 – CONCORDE BINARY MARKET (SETTLED AT 0)
The penultimate race on a card at Chelmsford City rarely gets amongst the headlines but last night’s race saw 1/6 favourite Concorde overturned in the most staggering of circumstances.
Coming round the bend, and with the other four runners all off the bridle, it looked to be an easy night’s work for jockey Pat Cosgrave who was motionless on the jolly. Cosgrave even eased down the three-year-old inside the final furlong, but he did not see Ben Robinson aboard My Roxanne sneak up his inside and chin him on the line by a nose.
Cosgrave fronted up after the race and said he was embarrassed with his performance and apologised to connections but sellers on the Binary spread will have been left cheering his misfortune as they celebrated an unlikely win. Priced at 75.00-85.80 before the off, sellers landed a win of 75x their stake.
Those who sold on the 50-25-10 Race Index at 42-45 won 17x their stake.
SOUTH SYDNEY RABBITOHS v PENRITH PANTHERS – STEPHEN CRICHTON SUPER MEGA MINUTES (SETTLED AT 385)
The NRL has been a superb watch this season and those who tuned into the match between Penrith and Souths were treated to another excellent clash.
Last season’s premiers Penrith are not at their best this season and they trailed early on in this one with tries from Damien Cook and Latrell Mitchell putting the hosts in front. Having broken English hearts last year, Stephen Crichton is the go-to man for big moments and the Samoan international bagged a hat trick that put the Panthers in front and was big news for those who bought his Super Mega Minutes.
Ultimately Souths came back to win, but with Crichton scoring tries in the 39th, 66th and 71st minute, his Super Mega Minutes spread made up at 385 against a pre-match spread of 22-25 as buyers won 360x their stake.
Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
