MANCHESTER UTD V SHEFFIELD UTD - TOTAL GOAL MINUTES X CORNERS (SETTLED AT 4248)

We start with the football betting action from the midweek Premier League action and it was once again a nervy watch for Manchester Utd fans as the Red Devils laboured to a 4-2 victory over basement side Sheffield Utd at Old Trafford.

After the near-debacle of the FA Cup semi-final at the weekend, the home side were looking for a much more business-like performance and result as their disappointing league campaign nears the finish line, but predictably this was not going to be the case.

Falling behind 1-0 and 2-1 had the alarm bells ringing, but the quality of the Red Devils' top stars like Bruno Fernandes, who scored a double, ultimately gave Erik ten Hag a reprieve. His side are now seven points behind fifth-placed Spurs with five matches left to play this season.

For football spread betting punters, buying on the TGM x Corners spread was a profitable choice. With the opening spread standing at 2,200 - 2,400, the final make-up of 4,248 meant a profit of 1,848x punters' opening sell stake!

RONNIE O'SULLIVAN V JACKSON PAGE - MULTI-FRAMES (SETTLED AT 10)

We move on to the snooker action from the World Championship at the Crucible in Sheffield and it was another masterclass from 'The Rocket' as Ronnie O'Sullivan secured an opening victory in thoroughly dominant fashion.

Althoughly a huge favourite to get the job done, O'Sullivan surely laid down a marker for his rivals with a crushing 10-1 victory over Jackson Page. O'Sullivan is aiming to win his eighth title and move clear of Stephen Hendry's mark of seven Crucible crowns.

For punters who placed a sell bet on the Multi-Frames market at a starting spread of 50 - 58, a settlement of 10 meant a return of 40x their opening wager.

CORENTIN MOUTET V JUNCHENG SHANG - TOTAL POINTS (SETTLED AT 290)

And finally, we end with the tennis action from the Madrid Masters as mercurial Frenchman Corentin Moutet took on young Chinese talent Juncheng Shang in what turned out to be an absolutely crazy match for a variety of reasons.

With three sets taking a marathon four hours to complete, the highlights - apart from some incredible shotmaking by both players - included Moutet being brought a mid-match coffee from the fans, dropping his racket out of his hand at 5-5 in the deciding set tie-breaker, and falling victim to spray from the neighbouring court sprinkler system.

Ultimately though it was Shang who battled to victory despite Moutet saving several match points, finally getting over the line 6-7 6-2 7-6. For punters with the foresight of a tightly-contested and lengthy match, buying on the Total Points opening spread of 147 - 152 and a settlement of a massive 290 yielded an impressive return of 138x for successful buy bets.
