Before that though, as always, we look at some of the best bets and spread betting winners from Wednesday and Thursday in our Big Winners round-up.

RAPID VIENNA v WISLA KRAKOW - GOALS CUBED (SETTLED AT 343)

We start with the football betting action and this time from the Europa League qualifiers as Raoid Vienna battered their Polish visitors Wisla Krakow in the second leg of their tie, which was relatively finely-balanced after a 2-1 success for the Austrians in the first leg.

The match as a contest quickly disintegrated from the Poles' perspective as the home side blitzed their way to a 5-0 lead going into the break, and it could even have been six if not for a missed penalty. The second half was a quieter affair until Rapid scored their sixth of the night and a late consolation did little to dampen the spirits of Rapid or provide much solace for Wisla.

In terms of big winning bets, football spread betting punters had joy buying on our Goals Cubes market. With the opening spread standing at 62 - 72, the final make-up at 343 meant a substantial profit of 271x punters' opening buy stake!

THE HUNDRED: LONDON SPIRIT v WELSH FIRE - MULTI-FOURS (SETTLED AT 66)

We move on to the cricket action from The Hundred and London Spirit registered their first win of The Hundred season with a three-wicket win over Welsh Fire at Lord's.

Although Fire's Luke Wells struck an entertaining 23 off eight balls, Fire wickets fell at regular intervals as they stumbled to just 94-9. Meanwhile, London Spirit spinner Liam Dawson took an outstanding 3-10 for Spirit and Daniel Worrall (1-16) bowled 10 consecutive dot balls at the start of the innings - in what was a first for the men's Hundred.

For spread betting punters, a big win was to be had for those opting to place a sell bet on the Multi-Fours market. Starting with a spread of 130 - 158, a make-up of just 66 meant a 64x return on sell stakes!

IGA SWIATEK v QINWEN ZHENG - ZHENG 2-0 (SETTLED AT 100)

And finally, the tennis action from the Olympics as the 'Queen of Clay' Iga Swiatek of Poland suffered a shock defeat in the semi-finals of the women's singles tournament, collapsing to a straight-sets defeat to China's Qinwen Zheng.

Riding a 25-match unbeaten run on the Parisian clay at Roland Garros, including winning the 2024 French Open at this venue (and the last three French Opens overall), overwhelming favourite Swiatek was beaten 6-2 7-5 by the sixth seeded Zheng, despite holding a 4-0 lead in the second set.

For punters who envisiged a shock straight-sets win for Zheng and placed a buy bet on the Zheng 2-0 set score market at an opening spread of 3.5 - 6.5, a settlement of 100 yielded an ace return of 93.5x for successful buy trades.
