Wednesday and Thursday's Big Winning Bets

landing-page-midweek-210624

We've got another exciting weekend of sport coming up but we have already seen plenty of drama and thrills over the last few days which have yielded large potential profits for savvy online betting punters during the midweek action from Euro 2024, the racing at Royal Ascot, and ATP Queen's tennis!

As always, we look at some of the best bets and spread betting winners from Wednesday and Thursday in our Big Winners round-up.

Make sure you don't miss any of the action and keep an eye out for our pre-match and in-play price boosts on the website or our betting app, which you can download in the App Store or Google Play store.

CROATIA v ALBANIA - TOTAL GOAL MINUTES (SETTLED AT 251)

We start with the football betting action at Euro 2024 and there was an exciting match in Group B as Croatia kept their hopes alive with a draw against underdogs Albania, although a win was agonisingly taken from their grasp with a last-gasp equaliser.

With very few notable players - on paper - compared to Ukraine's lineup featuring several players from La Liga and the Premier League, Romania showed the importance of togetherness as a group and playing as more than the sum of their parts, and a clinical display of counter-attacking combined with relentless pressing and solid defending made sure their campaign got off to the perfect start.

In terms of big winning bets, football spread betting punters had joy buying on the Total Goal Minutes market. With the opening spread standing at 121 - 131, the final make-up of 251 meant a profit of 120x punters' opening buy stake!

ROYAL ASCOT DAY 3 15:05 - DOUBLE DRAW OF WINNER (SETTLED AT 36)

We move on to the Royal Ascot action and day three of the festival was marked by another successful tip from Andrew Mount - whose horse racing tips you can view every day on our sports betting blog.

In Thursday's 15:05 race, Mount's tip was to buy on the Double Draw of Winner market, which for punters who placed a buy bet at a starting spread of 21 - 23 saw a settlement of 36 and meant a return of 13x their opening wager.

CARLOS ALCARAZ v JACK DRAPER - ALC/DRA MATCH SUPREMACY (SETTLED AT -20)

And finally, we end with the tennis action from Queen's Club as Jack Draper's impressive recent exploits on grass took an even greater turn as he dumped out reigning French Open, Wimbledon and the 2023 Queen's champion Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets.

After recently grabbing the status of top-ranked British male, Draper showed his much-improved fitness, consistency and confidence as he took the initiative and thoroughly controlled his match with Spanish phenom Alcaraz, who seemingly had no real answer to Draper's menacing serve and power hitting throughout.

For punters backing the young Brit to do the business, selling on the Match Supremacy market against Alcaraz at an opening spread of 7.5 - 10 and a settlement of -20 yielded a return of 27.5x for successful sell trades.
