Weekend's Big Winning Bets 07.04.25

landing-page-weekend-040425

One of the biggest weekends for online betting came and went with Nick Rockett landing the spoils for Willie Mullins and connections in the Grand National. Away from that, the pick of the football betting action came yesterday as the Manchester derby rewarded unders punters with a 0-0 draw.

In a week which sees European football and the Masters take place, we review some of the big winning bets from the past few days.

Please remember Spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit. They may not be suitable for everyone so please ensure you fully understand the risks involved.

CRYSTAL PALACE v BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION – CROSS-BOOKINGS (SETTLED AT 3150)

Clashes between Crystal Palace and Brighton might be rated as one of the tamer ‘derbies’ in English football, but the pair served up an ill-tempered classic on Saturday as Palace prevailed 2-1.

The match featured red cards for Palace’s Eddie Nketiah and Marc Guehi with Jan Paul van Hecke being sent off for the visitors. For football spread betting punters who bought bookings-related spreads, it was undoubtedly a good day.

Cross-bookings is a spread that multiplied Palace’s booking point total by Brighton’s and before the match, you could trade at 525-605. With Palace amassing 70 points and Brighton collecting 45, the spread settled at 3150 as buyers won 2545x their stake.

GRAND NATIONAL – NICK ROCKETT 100-60-30-20-10-5 RACE INDEX (SETTLED AT 100)

One of the most popular races of the year for racing spread betting action saw the return of our expanded 100-60-30-20-10-5 race index market.

As the runners went to post for the Grand National, last year’s winner I Am Maximus was disputing favouritism with another JP McManus horse in Iroko, with the Irish owner looking to land his third National of the decade.

However, his two hopes were beaten by Nick Rockett who headed a Willie Mullins 1-2-3, with I Am Maximus running into second and Grangeclare West claiming third. Punters who bought Nick Rockett at 4-7 before the race were rewarded with a win of 93x their stake.

TOULON v SARACENS – MATCH MULTI-POINTS (SETTLED AT 3224)

On Saturday, Toulon met Saracens for a place in the quarter finals of the European Rugby Champions Cup and it was the French side who prevailed in a high-scoring affair.

Sarries had held an unexpected 35-13 lead during the first half, but the hosts roared back to win 72-42 at a raucous Stade Mayol.

With 62 points scored in the first half and 52 scored in the second, this was a great day for buyers on our Match Multi-Points market. This spread sees the first half points total multiplied by the total scored in the second and before kick-off, it was available to buy or sell at 759-815.

However, with the market settling at 3224, buyers landed a huge profit of 2409x their stake.

Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
