Daily Spread Betting Round-up
There were plenty of goals this weekend in the Premier League whilst weekend wins for Jonbon and Energumene had online betting punters’ minds drifting towards March.
With England securing a first series win in New Zealand since 2008 and the final F1 race of the season, there were plenty of opportunities for spread betting profit over the last few days and we round up three of those below.
Please remember Spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit. They may not be suitable for everyone so please ensure you fully understand the risks involved.
Oscar Piastri has had a productive season for McLaren as his outfit won the Constructors’ Championship for the first time since the 1990s, but the young Aussie didn’t finish his season how he would have liked.
Having started second on the grid, Piastri was at the back of the pack after the first turn following contact from max Verstappen and he could only muster a tenth-place finish after that.
Piastri’s misfortune was good news for sold him at 3.5-6.5 in the Piastri/Sainz match up. This spread sees 10 points awarded to the winner with a further two points given for each position won by. With Sainz finishing runner-up compared to Piastri’s tenth, the spread made up at -26 with sellers winning 29.5x their stake.
Those who tuned in to watch the match between the Bills and the Rams yesterday were treated to 12 touchdowns as Buffalo came up agonisingly short in their comeback to go down 44-42 at the SoFi Stadium.
Trailing 38-21 going into the final quarter, two rushing touchdowns from inspirational quarterback Josh Allen gave the Bills a fighting chance, but it was the hosts who came out on top on the day.
With so many touchdowns it was always going to be good news for buyers on Total Touchdown Minutes are 180-200 and with the spread settling at 426, they were rewarded with a win of 226x their stake.
This weekend saw Leeds win 2-0, Grimsby run out 3-0 winners, Stenhousemuir smash Dumbarton 4-0 and an Oliver Edvardsen hat trick help Go Ahead Eagles soar past NEC 5-0.
However, the big winners over the last few days were Thailand who trounced Timor-Leste 10-0 in their opening match of the ASEAN Championship, and it was a big win for buyers of Goals Cubed at 127-155.
A brace from one-time Fulham trainee Ben Davis was added to by Norwegian-born Nicholas Mickelson and Swedish-born Patrick Gustavsson. Goals from Sekan Ratree – once on the books at Leicester City – made it 6-0 and 7-0 as the War Elephants overran their opponents who are ranked 196th in the world.
With the spread settling at 1000, buyers won 845x their stake as the Thais equalled their biggest ever win having also put ten past Brunei back in 1971.
Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
