Daily Spread Betting Round-up
There was cup action on both sides of the border, this weekend with two big shocks as Liverpool and Rangers both fell to lower division sides. In the Six Nations, England recorded an impressive win over France, Ireland marched on, and Wales’ woes continued.
In the cricket, England slumped to another defeat in India while Dereck Chisora continues to enjoy his own Indian summer with a points victory over Otto Wallin. With so much sport taking place over the weekend, we have whittled the action down to three events where our canny online spread betting punters collected some cash.

One kiss was all it took for Dua Lipa, and yesterday one shot was all it took for Queen’s Park as they became the first side from outside the Scottish top flight to win a cup match against Rangers at Ibrox.
There was no doubting the hosts were the better of the sides having had the vast majority of the ball and racking up 27 shots on goal, but this was another embarrassing day in Rangers’ recent domestic history.
In Europe, the Gers often seem to raise their game whilst at home, they can be drab and lacklustre. Phillippe Clement named a strong side for this clash, and he must now be fearing for his job after a defeat against a side who were priced at 40/1 before kick-off.
There were plenty of big winning spread bets for those who sided against Rangers and one of them came in a sell in the Total Goal minutes Supremacy. Before the match, Rangers were favoured at 162-172, but with Seb Drozd scoring a 70th minute winner for the Spiders, the spread settled at -70.
This left canny sellers collecting a big win of 232x their stake.
The Premiership Rugby Cup is a long way from the glitz and glamour of the Six Nations but a winner is a winner and punters on Friday night won’t have been too fussy when collecting a win of 616x their stake.
The trade in question was a sell at 665-718 on Match Multi-Points in the clash between Gloucester and Hartpury at Kingsholm which finished 7-7. Hartpury captain Wil Crane scored the only try of an uninspiring first half after he crashed over from short range.
Gloucester really needed a win to keep their hopes of retaining the cup alive and after an hour they were level following a converted Olly Allport score. The two clubs are separated by about five miles, yet there was nothing to split them on the night where Multi Points made up at the small total of 49.
Belgian Thomas Detry landed the first PGA Tour title of his career in superb style as he won by seven shots at the Phoenix Open.
Finishing with a score of -24, the 32-year-old carded scores of 66, 64, 65, and 65 with four birdies in the last six holes to cruise home in front of American duo Daniel Berger and Michael Kim who tied second.
The Player Performance market for the Phoenix saw the winner awarded 200 points on the spread, those finishing 2nd – 10th receiving 100 points, 11th -20th 50 and those finishing 2st-30th given 20 points.
Before play on Thursday, the spread on the Bruxellois was 3-6 and he rewarded buyers with a maximum win of 194x their stake.
Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
