Daily Spread Betting Round-up

Weekend's Big Winning Bets

landing-page-header-weekend-111223

There has been plenty of footballing drama this weekend as Aston Villa recorded back-to-back away wins over Manchester City and Arsenal to move within two points of the summit. The Villains have been trimmed into 16/1 in our Premier League odds with City still a shade of odds-on at 10/11.

For today’s betting blog, the action comes from slightly further afield than the Midlands as we review one of the dullest games in NFL history, a thriller in Frankfurt, and another chapter in this abject year for English white ball cricket,

MINNESOTA VIKINGS @ LAS VEGAS RAIDERS – TOTAL POINTS (SETTLED AT 3)

For the first time since 2007, a match in the NFL finished in a 3-0 scoreline as the Minnesota Vikings came away from the Allegiant Stadium with a victory on the road. A low scoring affair might have been bad news for those tuning in to watch, but for those who had sold Total Points on our NFL spreads at 40.5-43.5, it was a cracking result.

Sellers were on for a maximum win as both sides’ offense misfired horribly, but with two minutes to go, the Vikings eventually found their way into field goal range and Greg Joshep did the business from 36 yards.

A total of three points scored – the lowest-scoring indoor match in NFL history – saw sellers land a win of 37.5x their stake.

EINTRACHT FRANKFURT v BAYERN MUNICH BAY/EIN SUPREMACY (SETTLED AT -4)

One of the more eye-catching results from the football betting coupons this weekend where Bayern Munich were beaten 5-1 away from home at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Frankfurt had put themselves three goals to the good before Joshua Kimmich struck for Bayern to reduce the arrears before half-time. However, any hopes of a comeback for the visitors were extinguished when Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe and Ansgar Knauff made it 5-1.

For those siding with Frankfurt on our football spread betting markets, it was a great result and there was a relatively big win for sellers in our Supremacy spread which was 1.55-1.75 in Munich’s favour before kick-off. This is a low volatility market, but a four-goal winning margin for the hosts on Saturday saw the market settle at -4 as sellers landed a win of 5.55x their stake.

WEST INDIES v ENGLANDJOS BUTTLER RUNS (SETTLED AT 0)

To say Jos Buttler was going through the wringer at the moment would be underselling it a little bit. After a disastrous title defence in the World Cup, his side have now been beaten by the West Indies, a side who didn’t even qualify for the showpiece in India, in a three match ODI Series.

To compound matters, the captain is seriously out of touch and those selling his runs spread in our cricket spread betting markets on Saturday night were in the money. The beleaguered skipper was out for a golden duck as Alzarri Joseph collected the first of his three-wicket haul.

Before stepping up to the crease, Buttler’s runs spread was 31-36 but a quick return to the pavilion saw sellers collect a win of 31x their stake.

Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
