Daily Spread Betting Round-up
Liverpool’s match with Manchester City bought a flurry of online betting action and while the Reds were big winners of the weekend, the big winning bets occurred elsewhere.
With high quality sport taking place both domestically and further afield, there was something for everyone to enjoy and we have picked out three big winning bets from the weekend’s fixtures.

Cricket spread betting buyers made hay on Saturday as Australia overcame England in a high scoring match on the opening weekend of the ICC Champions Trophy.
England – batting first – lost Phil Salt and Jamie Smith early, but they made a total of 381-8 thanks largely to a superb knock from Ben Duckett who hit 165 runs at a strike rate of 115 before being bowled LBW by Marnus Labuschagne.
It was England’s highest ever score in the competition’s history, yet it did not prevent them from falling to a five-wicket defeat.
English cricket spread betting fans who decided to side with Duckett would have at least been able to console themselves with a big winning bet. Before play began, the Duckett Player Runs spread was 37-42 but with the spread settling at 165, buyers won 123x their stake.
Last week we highlighted the Winning Margin x Total Points spread market where sellers had come out with a maximum win in the draw (after 80 minutes at least) between Castleford Tigers’ match with Hull KR.
This week – in the 15-man code – there was a huge winning bet for buyers when Italy hosted France yesterday afternoon. With a crushing 73-24 win, France racked up the second-highest ever points tally by a side in Six Nations history, notching 11 tries with nine different scorers.
With a winning margin of 49 and a points total of 97, the spread settled at 4753. The pre-match spread was 1258-1358 with buyers feeling anything but bleu as they pocketed a mammoth win of 3395x their stake.
Borussia Dortmund secured their first league win under manager Niko Kovac as they put Union Berlin to the sword on Saturday, running out 6-0 winners. After 70 minutes, BVB were 2-0 up, but a late flurry saw them add some extra gloss to the scoreline.
Guinean forward scored 28 goals in 28 Bundesliga matches for Stuttgart last season and at the weekend he became the first man since Erling Haaland to score four goals in one match for Dortmund.
His first was a close-range header just before half time before adding three goals in eight second half minutes. His late goals had buyers at 31-34 on the Guirassy Player Goal Minutes spread in raptures.
The final make up was 279 as buyers collected a win of 245x their stake.
Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
