WAKEFIELD TRINITY v WARRINGTON WOLVES – INNES SENIOR TRY MINUTES (SETTLED AT 131)

Much was made of Wakefield’s struggles this season in the big winners blog, but Trinity and Mark Applegarth have turned a corner and the side that couldn’t buy a win have given themselves a real chance of staying up.

Warrington Wolves were the latest victims to fall at Belle Vue, a shock result that spelled the end of Daryl Powell’s tenure at the Cheshire club. It was not just the defeat, but the manner of it, with Warrington 8-11 favourites on the Supremacy spread, they lost 42-6 leaving sellers on that market winning 44x their stake.

The big winner though was reserved for buyers on Innes Senior Try Minutes with the winger scoring a first half hat trick in the first appearance of his third loan spell with the West Yorkshire outfit. The Huddersfield academy product crossed for his fourth try in the second half as Trinity ran riot. Before the match, Innes Senior Try Minutes was 18-21 but with the spread settling at 131, buyers won 110x their stake.

ENGLAND v DENMARK – ENGLAND 1ST GOAL MINUTE (SETTLED AT 6)

England gave their chances of topping group D at the Women’s World Cup a real boost on Friday when they made it back-to-back 1-0 wins with a victory over Denmark. Having toiled in their opener against Haiti, they looked a much better outfit – particularly going forwards – against Denmark.

After an excellent season with Chelsea, Lauren James was brought into the starting 11 and she duly rewarded Sarina Wiegman’s faith with a sublime strike to put England in front with just six minutes on the clock.

It was a goal that sparked celebrations from Sydney all the way back home with those who had sold the time of England’s first goal minute at 48.5-51.5 even more excited as they pocketed a win of 42.5x their stake.

BELGIAN GRAND PRIX – SAFETY CAR x 50 (SETTLED AT 0)

Max Verstappen found himself on top of the podium for the eighth week in a row as the Dutchman extended his lead in the championship to 125. Despite starting sixth on the grid, Verstappen was still a hot favourite and whilst backers on Verstappen-related spreads came out on top they weren’t big winners.

Instead, it was sellers on the Safety Car x 50 spread which was 76-84 who came out on top. After a deluge of rain in the Ardennes, there were fears Sunday’s race would be a washout, but the weather eased up and only two drivers failed to finish. With no collisions or incidents requiring the involvement of the safety car, those who sold Safety Car x 50 at 76-84 were drove off with a win of 76x their stake.

Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
