Looking to bounce back from their Sri Lankan shocker and cling onto a spot in the semi-finals, England take on Australia at Lord’s. Meanwhile the busy international football schedule continues.

1. England vs Australia – England/Australia Supremacy, 6-16
With Bangladesh breathing down their necks, England can’t really afford to lose to Australia on Thursday, especially since Thursday’s match is followed by group staging-closing fixtures against India and New Zealand.

That they suffered their 2nd shock defeat of the tournament last Friday, losing to Sri Lanka by 20 runs, complicates matters further, meaning Eoin Morgan and co. not only need to put in a big performance, but shake-off any mental gremlins in doing so.

3. Italy vs China – Cristiana Girelli SMM, 30-36
Having not appeared in the tournament for 20 years, Italy have ended up being one of the World Cup’s surprise packages, topping Group C despite losing their final game to Brazil. China, meanwhile, scraped through in 3rd place in Group B.

2017 champions Cameroon kick-off their African Cup of Nations title defence against Guinea-Bissau on Tuesday. The Indomitable Lions are chasing their 6th championship, and will look to put in a strong showing against a side that only made their competition debut 2 years ago.
