When Tony Gonzalez, wearing number 88, caught Matt Ryan’s seven-yard pass to register the game’s first Touchdown in Saints’ 23 – 17 victory over Falcons, spread betters who bought at 43 made 45 times their stake size.
Sellers at 40 were left cursing as they lost 48 times their stake.

A step up from 1st Touchdown Scorer, the Player Touchdown Minutes spread betting markets allow you to bet on the minutes any player scores a Touchdown in a match, aggregated.
So when T.Y. Hilton scored a Touchdown in the third quarter and two more in the fourth quarter, all from Andrew Luck passes in the Colts’ 27 – 24 win over Texans, his Player Touchdown Minutes made up at 152 meaning a profit of 137 for spread betters who had bought his spread at 15.
Anyone who sold at 12 would have lost 140 times their stake.

Baltimore’s 18 – 16 win over Detroit Lions in December featured seven successful Field Goals which totalled 288 of yards covered.
This meant a profit of 166 times their stake for spread betters who bought at 122 but a loss of 176 times their stake for anyone who sold at 112.

The NFL spread betting Match Performance market is a spread based on 20 points being awarded per Touchdown in a match, 15 points per turnover, 10 points per sack, five per field goal and three per penalty.
Kansas City’s 56 – 31 win over Oakland Raiders in week 15 was an action-packed affair that saw this market make-up at 439, meaning profits of 172 times their stake for punters who bought on the spread at 267.
Sellers at 257 were wincing at every development in the game as they lost 182 times their stake.

Among the many markets on offer when spread betting on American Football is Touchdown Yardage – a spread based on the aggregate of each yards covered in each Touchdown in a match.
Green Bay’s 44 – 31 win over Vikings featured nine Touchdowns with some serious yardage covered; 355 yards in all.
For buyers at 116 this meant a profit of 239 times their stake. For sellers at 106 it meant losses of 249 times their stake.

Touchdown Shirt Numbers is a spread betting market based on the shirt numbers of all the scorers of the Touchdowns in a match, aggregated.
So when 12 Touchdowns were scored in total in Denver’s high-scoring 51 – 48 win over Cowboys early in the campaign, Touchdown Shirt Numbers made up at a huge 756.
Buyers at 455 made 301 times their stake while sellers at 435 were left weeping at every score as they lost 321 times their stake.

One of the potentially more volatile American Football spread betting markets at Spreadex is the Team Multi-Points market.
This is based on the first half (first and second quarter) points scored by a team multiplied by the second half (third and fourth quarter) points scored by a team in a match.
New England’s big 55 – 41 win over Pittsburgh Steelers saw the Patriots score 24 points in the first half and 31 in the second half of the match meaning a make-up of 744.
Buyers of New England Multi Points at 194 made a whopping 571 times their stake but sellers at 174 lost a painful 591 times their stake.
