Can Manchester United edge closer to the Europa League knockouts with a win over Fenerbahce, at 6pm on BT Sport 3?

October was a pretty awful month for United. In 6 games (all competitions) they managed a measly 7 goals, 4 of which came against Fenerbahce, and failed to pick up a single win in the Premier League. All of a sudden, then, the Europa League has become a lot more important, providing another route to reach the Champions League if their domestic campaign continues to falter.



Emblematic of United’s troubles at the moment is the waning form of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
