Can West Ham put some more distance between them and the relegation zone with a surprise victory at Tottenham?

It’s a sign of how tight the bottom half of the table is that the Hammers, who were in 19th place 3 weeks ago and now sit in 16th, could jump all the way to 11th if they pick up all 3 points on Thursday evening. That’s because, after a pretty duff start, David Moyes has actually begun to turn things around for West Ham.



The last 6 games have seen the East London club pick up a string of impressive results, including a 1-0 win over Chelsea, a 0-0 draw against Arsenal and a 3-0 victory at Stoke. Just 2 days ago West Ham perhaps secured their most important victory of the festive season, coming from behind to nab a (very, VERY) late win over fellow relegation candidates West Brom after a 94th minute goal from Andy Carroll.
