Specials Preview 05/02/2015: Celebrity Big Brother Final, Friday 6th February 2015

This year’s show got off to a controversial start, as Jeremy Jackson and Ken Morley were both kicked out for a variety of TV misdemeanours. Since then a cavalcade of talent has fallen through the Big Brother doors, including publicity parasite Perez Hilton and 90s also-ran Kavana in a shock eviction on Wednesday, leaving just 5 superstars to battle it out for the coveted CBB crown.

First up, and favourite to win at 13/8, is Katie Hopkins, she of Apprentice and bile-filled-rants fame. The motor-mouthed mediarite is a surprise leader as we come to the close, considering the large swaths of the British public she has attacked over the years. However, Hopkins has either rejuvenated her image, or more likely, us Brits are gluttons for punishment, pushing her to the top of the pile.

Next up is the seed of George, former bad boy and reality-TV-regular Calum Best. Best has charmed viewers by being relatively inoffensive and handsome, doing his best (pardon the pun) to ensure his dad doesn’t roll over in his grave. At 9/4, Calum may be behind Katie Hopkins, but he has the support of our Spreadex clients with the amount of money spent on him looking in his favour.

Ol’ Cheggers is at 14/5, as he suffers the second most embarrassing trial of his career, following only the dearly departed Naked Jungle as his nadir. Doddering around the house and getting in arguments with Katie Hopkins has done nothing diminish the potent Chegwin brand, seeing Keith at 14/5 to take the tournament.

The most recognisable face (among other things) in the house, and CBB’s surprise inclusion after the mess at the start of the show, Katie Price, is surprisingly only at 6/1 behind her lesser competitors. All in all being very nice and understanding hasn’t done much to increase Price’s chances to win in the eyes of our traders, despite a late flurry of money ahead of tomorrow.

Finally, dark-horse Michelle Visage is at 11/1 and a favourite of our clients. Visage has been caught between being the voice of reason on one hand, and part of a vicious spat with Perez Hilton on the other. Despite having the worst odds of the lot, Visage has a solid set of supporters and may cause an upset come decision time on Friday.

As you can see, we have five worthy winners, each seeing a multitude of reasons why they should take the crown. Here at Spreadex we will be glued to our seats as Emma Willis reveals who has won the public’s heart this time around tomorrow night.
