With 2nd place a near certainty can Arsenal at least maintain momentum with an emphatic victory over Basel, at 7.45pm on BT Sport 2?

A sloppy 2-2 draw at home against PSG means that, unless the French side somehow fail to beat Ludogorets Razgrad, the Gunners will be stuck in Group A’s runners-up spot. If they are to stand any chance of finishing 1st then Arsenal ideally need to take all 3 points off the Swiss champions. That shouldn’t be too hard; Basel have only picked up points against Ludogorets, losing 2-0 at the Emirates back in September.



Arsenal are also coming off a rampant display at West Ham on Saturday. Bouncing back from their EFL Cup defeat in style, the Gunners put 5 past the Hammers at the anti-fortress that is the Olympic Stadium. Leading the charge was Alexis Sanchez, with the indefatigable Chilean scoring a 14 minute hat-trick late in the 2nd half.
