Can Arsenal claim another North London derby scalp when they host Tottenham in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup quarter-final? Though it’s only been 2 and a half weeks since their last meeting, things have slightly shifted for each side in the interim. Spurs haven’t lost since that 4-2 defeat at the Emirates, beating Southampton, Leicester and Burnley in the Premier League, while picking up a last 16-securing draw at the Nou Camp against Barcelona in the Champions League. For the Gunners, meanwhile, that derby triumph preceded one of their weakest periods this season. A 2-2 draw at Man United is less impressive a result than it was once was, and they only just squeaked past Huddersfield (domestically) and Qarabag (in Europe) with 1-0 victories against both. Then, on Saturday, Arsenal saw their 22 game unbeaten streak come to an end with a 3-2 defeat at a revitalised Southampton. Unai Emery also has a rather significant defensive headache, with the Gunners missing Hector Bellerin, Sead Kolasinac, Rob Holding and Konstantinos Mavropanos. Shkodran Mustafi, working with a hamstring injury, is being assessed. Up front, at least, Arsenal are in full strength. Joint Premier League top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is at a Super Mega PGM of 42-49, trailed by Alexandre Lacazette at 31-37, and Edward Nketiah at 27-32. For Tottenham, obviously, Harry Kane is the focus, the England forward at 43-50. It could be pretty tight on Wednesday night, with Spreadex are offering an Arsenal/Tottenham Goal Supremacy spread of 0.05-0.25, alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.95-3.15.
