BLACKBURN V QPR, SATURDAY 3PM

Blackburn will be hoping to transfer the feel-good factor of their FA Cup exploits to the league as they look to overturn a poor run of form which has left them languishing near the bottom end of the table. However, hosting a side in even more peril could be the perfect opportunity for the Rovers.

Huddersfield sit on the very precipice of the relegation places and will recognise the importance of a positive results against fellow strugglers Sheffield Wednesday, and both sides come into this one in similar form with draws in both of their last two fixtures. In fact, three of the last four H2H meetings have also ended in draws. Another one can be backed here at 21/10.

None of the previous 10 meetings between the sides in all competitions have yielded more than two goals - and under 2.5 goals can be backed here at 4/6.

NORWICH V COVENTRY, SATURDAY 3PM

Norwich play host to Coventry here with the knowledge that a win would be crucial in closing the gap on the play-off places, while a defeat can make the picture a lot less optimistic. The Canaries sit three points behind Coventry who currently occupy the final play-off position, but it will certainly not be an easy task with the visitors riding an unbeaten run since early December 2023.

WEST BROM V BIRMINGHAM, SATURDAY 3PM

West Brom will host Birmingham in this Midlands derby and will be looking to put the disappointment of their FA Cup exit behind them and also arrest any potential crisis after also losing their last league match to Norwich, while Birmingham secured a long-awaited league victory last time out as they look to move away from relegation trouble.

MIDDLESBROUGH V SUNDERLAND, SUNDAY 12PM

And finally, the Black Cats will be in action in the Sunday lunchtime televised clash as they travel to Wearside rivals Middlesbrough. Little separates these two sides in the table with Sunderland three points ahead while having played a game more, but the home side will potentially have dented confidence after their resounding defeat in the FA Cup to Chelsea.

Sunderland overcame a rocky patch with a win after three consecutive defeats last time out, and will know that these types of matches with sides in and around them in the table will prove crucial in the race for promotion.
