The Championship season is nearing a conclusion with just three matchweeks (including this one) remaining to decide the fate of promotion and relegation. This week sees the Sky Sports cameras travel to Leicester for the Saturday lunchtime kick-off as the automatic-promotion hopefuls host partner club and play-off challengers West Brom.
We preview that and the rest of the Partner Clubs fixtures from Matchweek 44 below!
The first of our partner clubs in action is West Brom in a crucial match with fellow promotion hopefuls Leicester. The Foxes have been in faltering form of late but still occupy second spot in the table and a game in hand on some of their closest rivals.
Meanwhile, the Baggies currently sit in 5th and with a seven-point cushion, but may need a maximum of six points to cement their play-off place. A win here would therefore be a huge step towards that. However, they have been installed as underdogs ahead of this one at 24/5 whilst Leicester are at 8/15 to claim an equally vital three points. The draw is available at 16/5.
We have several price boosts ahead of the match, including Patson Daka to score anytime - NOW 5/4 and Leicester to win 1-0 - NOW 15/2!
In our football spread betting markets, you can buy or sell bookings at 37 - 41 and Total Goal Minutes are available at 139 - 149.
Unfortunately for Huddersfield, they are still in deep trouble which was not at all helped by conceding a 100th minute equaliser in their last match against Bristol City. That result, although securing them a point, means they are still in the relegation zone and running out of time to get themselves into safety.
The Terriers sit just a point behind Birmingham who occupy the last safety spot, and will be hopeful of facing a Swansea side perhaps focused on next season with little left to play for in this campaign where they have already all-but secured a respectable mid-table finish.
The match odds have Huddersfield available at 11/10, with Swansea at 23/10 or a draw at 5/2. You can also back both teams to score at 4/6.
Cardiff City have now lost any mathematical chance of a play-off place meaning the last three matches of the season will be a case of playing for pride, but their visitors Southampton are still in the hunt for automatic promotion and will be hunting a crucial three points in the Welsh capital.
As such, the Welsh side are pre-match underdogs with the Supremacy spread of Southampton/Cardiff 1.3 - 1.5. On the fixed odds, the home side are 13/2 with the draw at 15/4 and visitors at 4/11.
We have price boosts for the match, including Che Adams to score a hat-trick - NOW 28/1, and Southampton to win 2-0 - NOW 8/1!
The Canaries are still flying high in the table and currently occupy the final play-off position but will be fighting hard to get a crucial three points here, with Hull still on their heels. However, the home side should feel confident in their abilities to close out the season strongly after just three defeats in their last fifteen matches.
Meanwhile, Bristol City have been on a five-match unbeaten run and will be no pushovers, although are no longer in the running for a shot at the play-offs.
Their last meeting at Carrow Road saw a 3-2 win for Norwich and the same result can be backed here at 20/1. in terms of the Supremacy spread, Norwich come in as strong favourites with a spread of 0.8 - 1.0. The fixed odds match odds have Bristol City at 4/1 and Norwich at 8/13, with the draw at 3/1 and over 2.5 goals at 4/5.
Watford are in the midst of a poor winless run and will likely be looking forward to the end of the season, but they will be facing a Hull side here who still have lots to play for as a late surge has given them an outside chance of sneaking into the play-offs.
Despite being six points behind sixth-placed Norwich, the Tigers have a game in hand on the Canaries and won’t mind that three of their four remaining outings this term are away from the MKM Stadium, as they’re one of only five sides in the 2023/24 Championship who have a better points-per-game record on the road than at home.
Hull are favoured to get the win at 7/5 with Watford at 15/8. The draw is available at 12/5. Total Goal Minutes are available at 134 - 144 with Total Goals at 2.65 - 2.85.
Sunderland look to have steadied the ship in recent weeks with five clean sheets from their last six matches and will be looking to reward their fans at the Stadium of Light with a positive performance and result here. Meanwhile, Millwall make the long trip north knowing a point will likely be enough to secure their safety in the division. And, with wins over Cardiff and promotion hopefuls Leicester in recent weeks, they will travel to Wearside in confident mood.
The match odds ahead of this one have the home side at 23/20 to get the win, with the draw at 11/5 and Millwall at 5/2. The Supremacy spread starts at Sunderland/Millwall 0.25 - 0.45 and we have several price boosts, including Sunderland to win 1-0 - NOW 13/2 and Jack Clarke to score anytime - NOW 23/10!
Finally, Blackburn will be in action on Sunday as they take on Sheffield Wednesday in a crucial clash for both sides. Although Rovers' shock win over Leeds gave them breathing space from the immediate relegation danger below them, another win here will be vital and a welcome change for home fans after a season of indifferent results at Ewood Park.
Meanwhile, the visitors sit firmly in the relegation zone and will be desperate for the three points which could lift them up to safety. However, their poor goal difference may be a terminal issue in their quest to remain in the division.
Blackburn are favoured to get the win at 21/20 with Sheff Wednesday at 5/2. The draw is at 12/5. Total Goal Minutes are available at 128 - 138 with Total Goals at 2.55 - 2.75. We also have several price boosts, including Sammie Szmodics to score anytime - NOW 6/4 and #NameIt - Match Markets - Blackburn To Win & Over 2.5 Match Goals - NOW 5/2!
