betting-preview-landing-page-header

The Championship season is almost at the end with this being the penultimate match-week and time running out to decide the fate of promotion and relegation. This week sees the Sky Sports cameras travel to Hull for the visit of third-placed Ipswich, who can leapfrog Leeds into the automatic promotion places with a win.

We preview that and the rest of the Partner Clubs fixtures from Matchweek 45 below!

sheffield wednesday v WEST BROM, SATURDAY 3PM

Promotion-chasing West Brom face a crucial trip to face Sheffield Wednesday knowing that a win could potentially rubber-stamp their play-off place, with the Baggies currently sitting in fifth, level on points with Norwich but just three ahead of the chasing Hull in seventh.

The home side will be no pushovers though and still have plenty to play for. A decent run of recent form has lifted them out of the relegation zone but the gap is just one point, meaning a win here could be a huge boost to their survival hopes. However, the Baggies have been installed as the favourites with a Supremacy spread of 0.05 - 0.25.

In our football spread betting markets, you can buy or sell Total Goals at 2.35 - 2.55 and Total Goal Minutes are available at 118 - 128.

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN V birmingham, SATURDAY 3PM

A real relegation dogfight takes place at the John Smith's Stadium as Huddersfield will be desperate to grab three points against Birmingham, with defeat likely to be terminal for the home side's Championship status. In fact, it is likely that nothing other than a win will suffice.

The Terriers sit two points behind the visitors and three points from safety, so will likely need a combination of factors to go their way in the final two matches in order to extend their stay in the second-flight.

The match odds have Huddersfield available at 13/10, with Birmingham at 21/10 or a draw at 9/4. You can also back both teams to score at 8/11.

CARDIFF CITY V middlesbrough, SATURDAY 3PM

Although a match-up devoid of anything of note to play for, both sides are in line for as respectable top-half finish and this match may well decide which of them finishes higher. Boro are currently sitting in ninth, two places above the home side but just a point ahead, meaning a win for the Bluebirds will allow them to leapfrog the visitors.

The Welsh side are pre-match underdogs with the Supremacy spread of Middlesbrough/Cardiff 0.4 - 0.6. On the fixed odds, the home side are 13/5 with the draw at 12/5 and visitors at 19/20.

NORWICH V swansea, SATURDAY 3PM

The Canaries are in a similar position to West Brom with the two sides level on points and occupying the final two play-off positions, and the home side here will know that a win here will be vital. However, although Swansea have little to play for, they are riding a three-match winning run and may put a spanner in the works while the home side aim to hold off Hull.

In terms of the Supremacy spread, Norwich come in as strong favourites with a spread of 0.8 - 1.0. The fixed odds match odds have Swansea at 15/4 and Norwich at 13/20, with the draw at 16/5 and over 2.5 goals at 8/13.

WATFORD V sunderland, SATURDAY 3PM

Another 'Spreadex derby' takes place at Vicarage Road this weekend as the Hornets host the Black Cats, with both sides looking to end disappointing seasons for both on a high. Recent form has been underwhelming with just one win in both sides' combined last 10 matches.

The home side are currently three points behind the visitors and can draw level in the fight for a higher finishing position with a victory here. We have a PRICE BOOST live for Watford to win 1-0 - NOW 8/1, as well as Vakoun Issouf Bayo to score anytime - NOW 9/5.

Watford are favoured to get the win at 13/10 with Sunderland at 21/10. The draw is available at 21/10. Total Goal Minutes are available at 121  - 131 with Total Goals at 2.4 - 2.6.

BLACKBURN V coventry, Saturday 3PM

Finally, Blackburn will be in action at Ewood Park as they host Coventry, and the match has massive significance with a victory enough for the home side to secure their Championship status. Meanwhile, Coventry are in the midst of a three-match losing streak in the league which has put paid to their hopes of sneaking into the play-offs. Will Rovers be able to take advantage of any drop in morale?

Blackburn are favoured to indeed get the win at 23/20 with Coventry at 21/10. The draw is at 13/5. Total Goal Minutes are available at 147  - 157 with Total Goals at 2.9 - 3.1.
