betting-preview-landing-page-header

The pick of the Championship action this weekend sees our partner club Cardiff City take on fierce rivals Swansea tomorrow evening. Before that, there are six other games involving our partner clubs and we have a run down of the key markets in every match below.

BLACKBURN ROVERS v MIDDLESBROUGH, SATURDAY 3PM

The first match of our weekend preview sees Blackburn made narrow 6/4 favourites as they welcome Boro to Ewood Park with the visitors priced at 7/4 and the draw at 13/5.

With the match markets looking tight, punters’ eyes may be drawn to the goals markets instead. All but one of Rovers’ matches this season have seen over 2.5 goals scored and the same bet is 4/6 with both teams to score available at 8/15. For those who prefer to play the spreads markets, Total Goals is available to buy or sell at 2.8-3 whilst Total Goal Minutes is 144-154.

BRISTOL CITY v WEST BROMWICH ALBION, SATURDAY 3PM

Another match that looks tricky to call sees West Brom make the trip to Ashton Gate and Baggies fans who want to back their side will get a price of 19/10 with a home win at 29/20 and the draw at 12/5.

The Baggies suffered a late 2-1 defeat against Huddersfield before the international break, but they have been rewarding BTTS punters this season with all six of their games failing to see either side keep a clean sheet. Both sides to score tomorrow in this one is 4/5 whilst the Total Goals spread is 2.5-2.7.

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v ROTHERHAM UNITED, SATURDAY 3PM

After kick-starting their season with that away win over West Brom, Huddersfield Town find themselves 17/20 favourites for a Yorkshire derby with Rotherham. The Millers, who are one of Town manager Neil Warnock’s former sides are 10/3 to get their second win of the season.

Rotherham have only scored more than one goal on one occasion this season and their Total Goal Minutes spread is 46-54, whilst the time of the first Rotherham Goal is set at 59.5-62.5 (if Town keep a clean sheet this market will settle at 90).

NORWICH CITY v STOKE CITY, SATURDAY 3PM

Norwich are comfortably the highest scorers in the league and they will be hoping to put a Stoke side who have lost their last two to the sword tomorrow. The Canaries are a shade off odds-on to win at 10/11 with the draw available to back at 14/5 and a Stoke win priced up at 29/10.

With 14 goals scored in the league this season, there may well be some interest in the Norwich over 1.5 goals market which is set at 5/6 whilst over 3.5 Norwich goals which has landed twice this season is priced at 15/2.

QPR v SUNDERLAND, SATURDAY 3PM

Our principal partners Sunderland started the season with back-to-back defeats but seven points from the last three matches have seen the Black Cats climb up the table. They are 5/4 to win this weekend when they travel to West London to face QPR and you can get a boost on Sunderland to win and both sides to score which is 18/5 from 29/10.

There are a couple of anytime scorer boosts as well with Jack Clarke (two goals from five Championship appearances this season) now 12/5 to hit the back of the net from 2/1.

In Sunderland’s 5-0 thumping of Southampton last time out, Shirt Numbers settled at 175 and you can buy or sell Shirt Numbers at 48-52 tomorrow.

WATFORD v BIRMINGHAM CITY, SATURDAY 3PM

Unbeaten Birmingham City look a big price at 29/10 when they travel to our partner club Watford this weekend. The Hornets have struggled for consistency this season yet despite that they are even money to collect the three points this weekend with the draw at 12/5.

There were six goals evenly split in Watford’s last match with Coventry but their three fixtures preceding that had seen a combined total of two goals scored. Over 2.5 goals in this clash is even money with the unders at 8/11. You can also buy or sell our Total Goals spread at 2.4-2.6.

CARDIFF CITY v SWANSEA CITY, SATURDAY 7:45PM

The biggest clash of the weekend sees our partner club Cardiff take on south Wales rivals Swansea City at home. However, they haven’t recorded a home win against the Swans since 2013 when both sides were in the top-flight.

Cardiff are 13/8 to right that particular wrong this weekend with the draw (only one of the last 14 meetings between these two has finished level) at 23/10 and Swansea at 9/5.

Swansea are yet to win this season in the league but one bright spark has been new signing Jerry Yates who has two goals from five league appearances and is boosted from 17/10 to 2/1 to hit the back of the net tomorrow evening. As with any feisty derby match, there will be interest in how busy the referee will be and you can buy or sell Bookings at 53-57.
