Our partner clubs are involved in eight separate matches this weekend and all of them are previewed below with plenty to decide at both ends of the table.
Partner club Sheffield Wednesday travel to Burnley in one of two Championship matches this evening. The Clarets are still in the mix for an automatic promotion slot thanks to an exceptional defence which has seen them keep 11 consecutive clean sheets.
Burnley are 4/5 to win this evening with the win to nil market priced up at 13/8. James Beadle will hope to bounce back after an error against Coventry last weekend saw the Owls come away empty handed. Danny Rohl’s side are 15/4 to end Burnley’s 20-match unbeaten run.
We have some bet boosts for this evening’s action with Dutch hitman Zian Flemming 5/2 from 21/10 to score any time and Jaidon Anthony 22/1 from 16/1 to score two or more goals.
John Eustace’s reign at Derby got off to a poor start as they were thumped 4-0 by QPR and the Rams face another London side tomorrow in the shape of partner club Millwall.
County haven’t scored a goal in their last five home matches; a repeat performance this weekend would be a club record. The time of the 1st Derby goal is available to trade at 56.5-59.5 minutes (if Derby fail to score the market settles at 90) and Total Goal Minutes – another of our popular football spread betting markets – can be traded at 94-102.
Sunderland will look to bounce back from defeat against Leeds on Monday with a win over Hull City, a side they have lost just one match against in the last ten meetings between the two.
The Black Cats have been favoured on our Supremacy football spread betting market and they can be bought or sold at 0.8-1 in a match they could do with taking maximum points.
In attach for Sunderland, Wilson Isidor has scored four goals in his last five Championship prices, so the Frenchman will certainly have his backers to score anytime this weekend at a boosted 31/20 from 13/10.
Coventry are on a remarkable run against partner club Preston having failed to beat the Lancashire outfit in 22 attempts. However, Frank Lampard’s side are one of the form teams in the division and have been chalked up at 3/4 to end their hoodoo and keep the good times rolling in the West Midlands.
Only the top three have collected more points in the league since Lampard took charge and the Sky Blues are now 2/1 to finish in the top six in our Championship outright odds.
No one has drawn more matches than Preston in the league this year (15) and you can back a stalemate this weekend at `12/5.
Partner club Norwich City lost their last home match against Preston, but they have not lost back-to-back league matches at Carow Road since November 2023 and they are 13/20 to win tomorrow.
Two wins in their last three matches have seen Stoke pull themselves clear of the relegation zone and you can back the Potters to smash the Canaries at 4/1.
In our football spread betting markets, Total Goal Minutes can be traded at 131-148 with Goals Cubed set at 41-48.
The departure of John Eustace hasn’t troubled Blackburn two much who have won both matches since the end of his tenure and our partner club are 7/4 to win on the road against Swansea.
The Welsh outfit are also managerless after dispensing with the services of Luke Williams having lost six of their last seven matches, but they are 31/20 to get a priceless win on the board this weekend.
West Brom are 13/8 to finish in the top six and they are 11/1 in our Championship promotion odds. If the Baggies are going to boing back to the top flight then they need to be turning over sides like Oxford United at home.
After a bright start under Gary Rowett, tomorrow’s visitors are now winless in five having scored just one goal in that run. The Baggies are 4/6 to win tomorrow with a home win to nil priced up at 13/8.
In our football spread betting markets, you can buy or sell Oxford Total Goals at 0.7-0.9.
On to a match with plenty of needle now as partner club Watford play host to bitter rivals Luton on Sunday.
With just one win in their last 26 away matches – a run which includes 12 defeats in their last 13 – the omens are not good for a Luton side looking to record a league double over Watford for the first time since 1988.
The Hatters are marooned at the foot of the Championship and are 2/1 to get a valuable three points this weekend. Watford are 7/5 to triumph after ending their own winless run last weekend away at Middlesbrough.
Often a feisty affair, and with a fair bit riding on it for both sides, the Bookings football spread betting market will be one to watch out for when it is priced up closer to the time.
