landing-page-cship-blog

With just five matches to go in the Championship, the action is heating up at both ends of the table. With our partner clubs involved in pivotal clashes this weekend, who will be able to withstand the heat?

BURNLEY v NORWICH CITY, FRIDAY 8PM

Burnley are 9/4 in our Championship winner odds and they are the first of the three title chasing sides in action this weekend.

The Clarets host partner club Norwich City this evening and Scott Parker’s side are 3/5 to get a valuable win on the board in this promotion race. The Canaries only have a very outside shot of making the play-offs and in truth their season is probably over.

We have boosted bets in the form of Zian Flemming anytime scorer at 9/5 from 31/20 and a 2-0 win for the hosts boosted to 13/2 from 6/1.

LEEDS UNITED v PRESTON NORTH END, SATURDAY 12:30PM

This is traditionally the time of year for Joy Division to be blasting from the away end at Elland Road, but Leeds might avoid falling apart this season.

The Whites are now 1/2 in our Championship winner odds after a dramatic Tuesday night saw Daniel Farke’s side retake top spot following a battling 1-0 win away at Middlesbrough.

The Yorkshire side are 2/9 to win at home this weekend as they welcome partner club Preston to LS11. Once again we have boosted bets with Leeds 12/1 from 10/1 to win 4-0 and Italian star Willy Gnonto 19/10 from 13/8 to score anytime.

LUTON TOWN v BLACKBURN ROVERS, SATURDAY 3PM

Partner club Blackburn have seen their season disintegrate in the second half of the season, but they can have a big say on the season this weekend when they face Luton.

The Kenilworth Road outfit have been grinding out results in their quest to avoid the drop and Matt Bloomfield’s side have been made 87/100 favourites to get all three points. Blackburn – one of three partner clubs sat on 53 points – are 3/1 to end their disappointing run away from home.

In our football spread betting markets, you can trade Total Goal Minutes at 115-125 with Goals Cubed available to buy or sell at 31-35.

MILLWALL v MIDDLESBROUGH, SATURDAY 3PM

One of the more intriguing matches this weekend sees partner club Millwall play host to Middlesbrough.

Millwall are five points off the play-offs but have two wins from two and a good run of form at the back end of the season could catapult them into the mix. Boro meanwhile are two points outside the play-offs in seventh following their defeat against Leeds in then week.

Only one of their last eight meetings has seen three or more goals scored. Total Goals at The Den can be traded at 2.35-2.55.

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY v OXFORD UNITED, SATURDAY 3PM

Oxford United are one of many sides battling to avoid the drop and they travel to South Yorkshire to face partner club Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow.

Wednesday have little to play for, but they are 3/5 to end a four game losing streak at Hillsborough having not lost five in a row since 2009. Counting against Oxford is their poor away form, which has seen them win just once on the road this season. They are 17/4 to double that tally with the draw available to back at 18/5.

The U’s have scored more than one goal in just two of their 20 away matches so far this term and you can trade Oxford United goals at 0.7-0.9.

SUNDERLAND v SWANSEA CITY, SATURDAY 3PM

A win for partner club Sunderland would guarantee them a fourth-place finish at a minimum for the season and The Black Cats are 11/5 in our Championship promotion odds and they are 7/10 to complete their first league double over Swansea since the 1960s.

Swansea though are three matches unbeaten and they have won their last three visits to Wearside. The Welsh side are 4/1 to record another win in the north east, with the draw priced at 5/2.

French striker Wilson Isidor has scored 12 goals so far this term and he can be backed to score at 13/8 from 11/8.

WEST BROMWICH ALBION v WATFORD, SATURDAY 3PM

It is crunch time for both West Brom and Waford in the play-off race with the Baggies three points outside the top six and Watford a point further back.

Albion are without a win in five matches, but they are 7/10 to get the job done at the Hawthorns, with Watford priced at 15/5 and the draw available to back at 13/5.

Indeed, West Brom have lost their last three matches, having not gone four in a row outside the top-flight since 2009. The Baggies have drawn a whopping 18 of 41 matches this term and you can back 0-0 at 15/2 and a 1-1 draw at 11/2.
