There are plenty of appealing matches involving our Championship partner clubs this weekend including a couple of derbies and a new name at the top of the league as West Bromwich Albion lead Sunderland by one point. Our betting blog this week takes you through all seven games involving our sides, including an all-Spreadex clash at Carrow Road.

QUEENS PARK RANGERS v MILLWALL, SATURDAY, 12:30PM

Partner club Millwall travel west across the capital this weekend for a lunchtime London derby at Loftus Road tomorrow.

Hosts QPR are four games unbeaten in the league though they needed an equaliser right at the very death to take a point away from Sheffield Wednesday last weekend. The Hoops can be backed to keep their decent run going with a win priced at 11/8 and the draw priced at 21/10.

Millwall fans looking for a punt may well fancy themselves to get the job done at 21/20 meanwhile.

NORWICH CITY v WATFORD, SATURDAY 12:30PM

All three lunchtime kick-offs tomorrow feature partner clubs and two of them clash in East Anglia as Watford travel to Carrow Road.

The Hornets made an electric start to the season collecting three wins from three but have subsequently dropped points in their last two matches. Tipped amongst the favourites to get relegated before the season began, Tom Cleverley will have been pleased with his side’s start to the season and they can be backed at 23/10 to get back to winning ways this season.

It has been a rough start to life as Norwich manager for Johannes Thorup, but his team can be backed at 11/10 to collect all three points tomorrow. In our football spread betting markets, Total Goals can be bought or sold at 2.6-2.8 whilst Total Goal Minutes is priced at 130-140.

SUNDERLAND v MIDDESLBROUGH, SATURDAY 12:30PM

Principal partners Sunderland were brought back down to earth with a bump last weekend as they suffered a 3-2 reverse on the road to Plymouth Argyle. This weekend the clash is decidedly more local as local rivals Middlesbrough make the short hop up the A19 to the Stadium of Light and the Boro travel in decent nick themselves.

In the match odds market, our football betting traders have barely a cigarette paper between them in the betting with Sunderland’s home advantage nudging them into 6/4 favouritism. Michael Carrick’s side are 9/5 to take three points back to Teesside whilst the draw is 23/10.

We have a couple of boosted bets for the match as well, with Boro’s powerhouse forward Emmanual Latte Lath 2/1 from 17/10 to hit the back of the net whilst a 1-0 home win was 8/1 but has been boosted to 10/1.

LUTON TOWN v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY, SATURDAY 3PM

Luton Town got their first Championship win of the season at the fifth time of asking and they are 87/100 to repeat the trick this weekend when Sheffield Wednesday make the trip south to Kenilworth Road.

The Owls have had a rough start to the season and are winless since their opening day demolition of Plymouth. It could well be a long afternoon for Danny Rohl’s side who are 3/1 to win and 5/2 to take a point from the clash.

WEST BROMWICH ALBION v PLYMOUTH ARGYLE SATURDAY 3PM

Following Sunderland’s slip at Plymouth last weekend, West Bromwich Albion hit the summit of the Championship and coincidentally it is Argyle who they welcome to the Hawthorns this weekend.

No one in the league is a shorter price to claim a victory this weekend in the Championship than the Baggies who are 4/11 and are 1.35-1.55 on the Supremacy spread. Argyle, for their part, are 13/2 to inflict a first league defeat of the season on their hosts, but they are fancied to get on the scoresheet with BTTS priced at 8/11.

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY v QPR, SATURDAY 3PM

It has been a tough start to the season for Sheffield Wednesday who have recorded three losses in a  row after battering Plymouth on opening day, but Danny Rohl’s side are favourites this weekend when they welcome QPR to South Yorkshire.

A second win of the season for the Owls is 5/4, with the away win at 21/10 and the draw at 11/5. Like Blackburn Rovers, both sides have scored in all of QPR’s league and cup matches this season and you an back both teams to score at 8/11 whilst the Total Goal Minutes football spread betting market can be bought or sold at 124-134.

PRESTON NORTH END v BLACKBURN ROVERS, SUNDAY 12PM

We round off the weekend at Deepdale where the Sky Sports Main Event cameras will be in place for a Lancashire derby between Preston and Blackburn. Rovers are another side who were tipped for the drop before starting the season well and they are 31/20 to keep the good times rolling at Ewood.

Their hosts have had a far less settled first month, but with Paul Heckingbottom an experienced hand on the tiller, the hope for North End is that things are looking up for a side sat just a point and a place out of the drop zone.

Preston livewire Ryan Ledson has been boosted from 31/20 to 9/5 to be carded whilst a 1-0 away win was 7/1 but has been boosted to 8/1.
