Can Liverpool extend their Premier League unbeaten run when they travel to Wolves on Friday?

With Man City slipping up against Chelsea, the Reds have been rewarded for their dogged domestic determination just before Christmas. And while they are yet to overtake the defending champions in terms of goals scored, they still have the tightest defence in the league, conceding just 7 goals in 17 games. And there’s no sign of them slowing down, with last Sunday seeing a comfortable 3-1 win over Man United and the death knell for Jose Mourinho’s time up north.



Wolves, meanwhile, seem to be out the other side of an autumnal wobble. Since December began they’ve won 3 on the trot, including that shock victory over Chelsea. Saturday lunchtime then sees Arsenal host Burnley in an attempt to get things back on track. His first game in charge will be at Neil Warnock’s Cardiff, who are lurking above the relegation zone but have won their last 3 homes games.
