Will Tottenham, Man City and Liverpool all take full command of their Champions League groups this Tuesday? Against the odds Tottenham have already secured a place in the last 16; they’ll look to maintain their place at the top of Group H with a win over Borussia Dortmund at 7.45pm on BT Sport 3. The last few weeks have seen some delirious highs and bitter lows for Spurs. Though they breezed past Real Madrid 3-1 at Wembley, that momentous victory comes sandwiched between losses against Manchester United and, somewhat shockingly, Arsenal in the league (a mere 1-0 win over Crystal Palace is disappointing in a different way). Luckily Tuesday provides them with a chance for a soft reboot against a freefalling Borussia Dortmund. The Germans have lost 4 of their last 5 fixtures in the Bundesliga and are yet to win a game in the Champions League. All this despite Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang banging in 13 goals in 11 games, form that gives him a Super Mega PGM of 58-68 to Harry Kane’s 49-57. Still, the shock of Saturday’s loss to Arsenal may derail Spurs’ European push, with Spreadex offering a Borussia Dortmund/Tottenham Goal Supremacy spread of 0.35-0.55 alongside a Total Goals spread of 3.2-3.4. Like Tottenham, Manchester City have already got their knockout spot locked down, meaning they’ll just be out to make a mockery of Feyenoord, at 7.45pm on BT Sport ESPN. It may have taken a season, but Pep Guardiola looks close to having completed City’s transformation into the British Barcelona. Domestically and in the Champions League they’re unbeaten; in fact, the sole blemish in 18 games in all competitions is a 1-1 draw against Everton. During that time they’ve scored 54 goals and conceded just 11, with Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero all on 10 goals apiece, and Super Mega PGMs of 30-36, 70-82 and 91-106 respectively. City are, in other words, absolute monsters. They is every change Guardiola’s goliaths will swallow their points-less Dutch visitors, with Spreadex offering a Manchester City/Feyenoord Goal Supremacy spread of 2.4-2.6 alongside a Total Goals spread of 3.85-4.05. In comparison Liverpool’s next group game is slightly more urgent; they travel to Sevilla at 7.45pm on BT Sport 2. After a real rocky run in the league – including 5-0 and 4-1 losses to Man City and Tottenham – Liverpool seem to be back track. They’ve had 4 wins in a row, conceding just once during that period, and manage to sit atop their Champions League group with 8 points, largely due to Sevilla’s own inconsistencies. The remarkable form of Mohamed Salah has helped enormously; the Egyptian forward has 14 goals in 14 games – including 8 in the last 6 – and sits at a Super Mega PGM of 32-38. After a very strong start, meanwhile, Sevilla have gone off the boil. They haven’t racked up consecutive victories domestically since September, winning 3 and losing 5 of their last 7 La Liga games. In the Champions League they’ve largely kept pace with Liverpool – the two sides drew their competition opener 2-2 – but suffered a humiliating 5-1 defeat to Spartak Moscow in Russia, the pain of which was only somewhat soothed by a 2-1 win in the return fixture. The Spaniards seem to lack the momentum of their visitors, leading to a Liverpool/Sevilla (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 0.05-0.25 alongside a Total Goals spread of 3-3.2.
