Can Arsenal leap into the top 4 with a North London derby victory over Tottenham this Sunday, at 2.05pm on Sky Sports Premier League?

Though they may have lost a fair amount of steam since their autumnal peak, suffering a quartet of consecutive draws between the end of October and early November, the Gunners’ unbeaten streak nevertheless still stretches back to mid-August. And that’s in all competitions, mind, with an EFL Cup quarter-final – also, incidentally, against Spurs – in less than 3 weeks and a place already secured in the Europa League last 32.



In theory Arsenal should be the fresher of the 2 on Sunday; while they travelled to Kiev on Thursday night, the squad was full of academy players (not that it stopped them securing a 3-0 over Vorskla Poltava), something that can’t be said about Tottenham’s hard-fought 1-0 win over Inter Milan on Tuesday.

The outcome on Sunday may well be down to the sharpness of the club’s respective forwards. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who didn’t travel mid-week, is the Premier League’s joint top scorer on 8 goals; yet Harry Kane is only trailing by a whisker, with 7 goals domestically and another 4 in Europe.
