With another tiring week of European football how will the Premier League big hitters fare this weekend? First up is the 3rd Friday night game of the season, with Everton taking on Crystal Palace at 8pm on Sky Sports 1. The Toffees’ unbeaten streak came to an end last weekend with a limp loss to Bournemouth, so Ronald Koeman will be looking for his team to jump straight back on the horse come Friday evening. Romelu Lukaku could be key, the Belgian heading into the match at a Super Mega PGM of 50-58 despite a niggling toe injury. Palace themselves have actually built up a head of steam in the past few weeks, though it will be interesting to see if Alan Pardew is distracted by all the England manager rumours flying round since Big Sam shot himself in the foot and lost his job. Regardless the Toffees will want to keep up their top 4 push, with Spreadex offering an Everton/Crystal Palace Goal Supremacy spread of 0.75-0.95 alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.75-2.95. At their best Liverpool have looked unstoppable this season; at their worst they lost to Burnley 2-0. Jurgen Klopp will be hoping for the former when the Reds travel to Swansea on Saturday, at 12.30pm on Sky Sports 2. Phillipe Coutinho has been Liverpool’s best player so far, nabbing his 4th goal of the season in their rampant 5-1 victory over Hull last week; he heads into to Wales with a Super Mega PGM of 26-31, behind Sadio Mane’s 35-41 and Daniel Sturridge’s 46-54. In stark contrast Swansea have been sitting ducks this season, with a win against Burnley and a controversial draw against Chelsea joined by losses to Hull, Leicester, Southampton and Man City. Sadly for the Swans Liverpool look like a freight train at the moment, with our traders offering a Liverpool/Swansea (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 1.3-1.5 alongside a Total Goals spread of 3.05-3.25. Flash forward to Sunday and Manchester United will once again have to recover from a milquetoast Europa League display when they host Stoke at 12pm on BT Sport 1. It took a 69th minute strike from Ibrahimovic (who has a Super Mega PGM of 64-74) for United to beat Zorya Luhansk, a side that finished 4th in the Ukrainian Premier League last season. It wasn’t the kind of performance Mourinho will have been hoping for, especially since his side had dismantled Leicester just a few days before. United are unlikely to be troubled on Sunday, however, given the fact that Stoke are yet to win a league game this season, their best results being 1-1 draws against Middlesbrough and West Brom. Our traders aren’t expecting much from Mark Hughes’ lot, with Spreadex offering a Man United/Stoke Goal Supremacy spread of 1.45-1.65 alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.9-3.1. Arguably the biggest game of the weekend takes place at White Hart Lane, as Manchester City travel to Tottenham at 2.15pm on Sky Sport 1. Pep Guardiola’s faultless record at City came to an end of Wednesday as the Manchester side repeatedly found themselves on the back foot against Celtic before ending with a 3-3 draw. Spurs, meanwhile, nabbed their first European win of the season in Moscow, with Son Heung-min continuing his impressive run. Though Tuesday’s match against Celtic wasn’t a loss Sunday’s game is the still first time City have had to ‘bounce back’ this season, in an already tough game to boot. Our traders expect it will be tight, with Spreadex offering a Manchester City/Tottenham (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 0-0.2 alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.75-2.95. Finally, can Arsenal maintain their mouth-watering form when they travel to Burnley at 4.30pm on Sky Sports 1? Following a season-best display against Chelsea the Gunners turned in another dominant performance mid-week, beating FC Basel 2-0 thanks to a brace from Theo Walcott. The in-form forward heads into Sunday at a Super Mega PGM of 29-35, and is likely to start ahead of the side-lined Giroud and the unproven Lucas Perez (who is at 40-47). For Burnley the start of the season has largely progressed as expected. Losses against Swansea, Chelsea and Leicester weren’t exactly a shock, neither was a draw against Hull. The Clarets have pulled off a couple of surprises, however; 2-0 wins over Liverpool and, most recently, Watford show that this Burnley side can have a bit of bite. They’ll certainly need it this weekend, with Spreadex offering an Arsenal/Burnley (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 1.4-1.6 alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.75-2.95.
