Andrew made a 15pt profit with his buy of BAZBALL (2nd) on Wednesday and has two recommended bets/trades on Thursday, December 7th.

MARKET RASEN JOCKEYS

PAUL O’BRIEN has a cracking book of rides at Market Rasen today and looks worth a buy in the Spreadex MARKET RASEN JOCKEYS market. GIVEMEFIVE can get the ball rolling when he makes his stable debut for Harry Derham in the juvenile hurdle (12.30). Derham has a fine record at the first time of asking with horses he takes over from other trainees, scoring with 12 of the 30 qualifiers for a profit of £53.97 to a £1 level stake at SP.  A DUBLIN JOB qualifies on the same trainer switch angle in the 1.40, while Pam Sly’s MIXEDWAVE, first past the post here on November 23rd but later disqualified thanks to his jockey’s excessive use of the whip, holds obvious claims in the 2.15. HARD FROST was let down by his jumping when fourth at Taunton last time but will be happier back at this venue when he only went down by a nose three runs back. COUNT OBSERVER, the shortest price of O’Brien’s mounts, finished second in his sole point-to-point start and looks a likely type on paper for the bumper.

Recommendation: Buy PAUL O’BRIEN in Market Rasen Jockeys

CHELSMFORD 5.00

The Ed Dunlop-trained LETABA could only finish seventh when 5-1 for a 1m4f handicap at Newcastle last time but the three-year-old attempted to make all over a course and distance that is rarely kind to front-runners. His 12-race maiden status is the obvious downside but he ran second by a neck over tonight’s course and distance on his penultimate start and is well drawn to attack in stall 1. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back LETABA in Chelmsford 5.00
