Andrew made a good profit with both his bets/trades on Thursday (including 7-2 Catterick winner TRACK AND TRACE) and for has two more on Friday, January 12th.

SEDGEFIELD 1.37

NEW FOUND FAME, Kerry Lee’s first ever runner at Sedgefield, looks interesting in the 2m5f handicap chase (1.37). Progeny of his sire, Fame And Glory, tend to get better with age and had we backed the eight-year-olds and older over jumps we’d have landed 64 of our 488 bets (13.1%) and made a profit of £91.21 to a £1 level stake at SP. The eight-year-old has drawn a blank in seven starts since making a winning racecourse debut in a soft-ground 2m4f novices’ hurdle at Uttoxeter 22 months ago but has shown promise in his two chase starts this season, falling close home when still in contention at Huntingdon before his Chepstow third. Both runs took place over 2m and he’ll be happier back over today’s longer trip. Buy at 25 in the the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price (2-1).

Recommendation: Back NEW FOUND FAME in Sedgefield 1.37

HUNTINGDON 3.20

Since his chase debut MIXEDWAVE has recorded form figures over fences of 1123312 (3-7), with all the wins coming on right-handed tracks despite his occasional habit of jumping out to his left. He bumped into a progressive sort in the shape of O’Connell when runner-up at Market Rasen last time and drops down from 0-105 to 0-100 company today. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price (15-8).

Recommendation: Back MIXEDWAVE in Huntingdon 3.20
