Andrew made a good profit with his opposition of KILN TIME (5th) on Tuesday and has two recommended bets/trades on Wednesday, December 13th.

HEXHAM JOCKEYS

EMMA SMITH-CHASTON has a good record when riding in handicaps for her boss Micky Hammond, scoring on 35 of her 227 mounts for a profit of £44.45 to a £1 level stake at SP. She has three such rides today at Hexham –MONAGAHAN BOY in the 12.45, APPLAUS (1.15) and DARK DUOMO (1.45). The first-named, nibbled at in the overnight betting, would have need his comeback run when down the field at Catterick and his stable is in better form now. APPLAUS ran a stinker here last time but again, his yard was out of form at the time, and he can be forgiven that effort. DARK DUOMO departed early in a handicap hurdle on his stable/seasonal bow last month and the son of Milan could appreciate the switch to chasing. Smith-Chaston also has rides in the 2.15 and 3.20 and a buy of her performance index at 16 with Spreadex looks warranted.

Recommendation: Buy EMMA SMITH-CHASTON in Hexham Jockeys market

LINGFIELD 1.30

HILL STATION heads the market for this 1m4f handicap but he’s won just once – on Wolverhampton’s Tapeta surface – from 23 career starts and progeny of his sire, Born To Sea, can usually be opposed on Polytrack, landing just 12 of their 392 starts (3.1%) for a huge loss of £290.13 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 22.76, A/E = 0.53). The four-year-old previous Polytrack runs returned form figures of 08665432 (0-8) and he can be sold at 21 in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Oppose HILL STATION in Lingfield 1.30

Please note that the picks recommended in this blog post are based on past performance and should not be considered a guarantee for future winning outcomes, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit. The views within this preview are those of Andrew Mount, professional tipster and journalist, and not those of Spreadex.
