Brian Meehan’s newcomers have a reputation for needing their initial outing but backing the two-year-olds blind on their debuts since 2018 would have found 12 winners from 106 bets and made a profit of £66.33 to a £1 level stake at SP. Idle Assembly’s sire Night Of Thunder provided Meehan with a two-year-old debut scorer last year in the shape of Isaac Shelby (winner of the Greenham on his debut this term) and he’s worth a speculative buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.
