Andrew Mount's Racing Tips

Andrew made a good profit with his sell of SAPRISTI (5th, 4-1) on Thursday and has two recommended bets/trades on Friday, September 15th.s below:

DONCASTER JOCKEYS

WILLIAM BUICK had a winner (9-4f) and three seconds (12-1, 7-1 and 7-4f) from his five rides on Town Moor yesterday and he looks worth siding with again on Friday. His mounts often out-run their odds at this venue, especially in the handicaps, with 52 of the 229 (prior to Thursday’s action) proving successful for a profit of £75.57 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 35.24, A/E = 1.48). I’m hoping that Lethal Nymph (see below) wins the 6.5f handicap (4.45) but it will be surprising if Buick’s mount BARADAR isn’t there or thereabouts, while FLOWER OF DUBAI looks a live contender for the Crisfords in the 4.10. Buick also has three chances in non-handicaps (1.15, 1.50, 2.25) and a buy of his performance in the Spreadex DONCASTER JOCKEYS market looks warranted.

Recommendation: Buy WILLIAM BUICK in Doncaster Jockeys.

DONCASTER 4.45

LETHAL NYMPH hardly set the world alight at Newbury last time, making the running down the near side before fading into a 28-1 last of 11, but that race might have come too soon (12 days) and he’s never been at his best in high summer (June to August). His record in the spring/autumn stands at 1131106 (4-7), improving to 13110 (3-5) on good/softer turf or the all-weather, with the ‘duck egg’ excusable as he seemed ill at ease on the track at York. Trainer Clive Cox struck with an outsider in the 7f nursery here yesterday and the four-year-old is worth a speculative interest. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back LETHAL NYMPH in Doncaster 4.45
